If you like when I am rude to the guests you're gonna love this one. I know I do, I love to mock the guests!

So, my guests this week were Michael Edison Hayden and Jared Holt, the hosts of Posting Through It, and the conditions we are recording this episode under are... UNIQUE, to say the least. The Real Time episode itself has an all time funny monologue due to flubs and insane joke choices (just wait for "Muslim Week"), as well as a mush mouthed buffoon getting racially uncomfortable around two black guests. It also was recorded, without hyperbole, six weeks ago, so fuckin' EXCUSE ME if I don't remember every fucking thing that happened?!?!

Hey, you can even check out my episode of Posting Through It here (you can hear me get kind of drunk and tired about 2/3rds of the way through it)

Hell yeah, Police Story theme!

Marlowe Holmes

This truly is the Necronomicon of podcasts. Describing arcane horrors most cant handle for us.

Jim Allenspach

I like how one of the guys starts going "Whaaat?" like in that "I Think You Should Leave" sketch

Darcy McCusker

Ooh, I’m now excited for Mike Edison Hayden’s book, especially the audio format; great voice.

Mirkatte

Supplemental homework: I'm now listening to the "Who the Hell is Bill Maher" episode of Posting Through It.

Kimmerfest

Bill thinks "testing" = SATs/ACTs That's why he talks about colleges when testing comes up. I can't believe he's this out of touch.

Rat Baby

Bill firing on all cylinders with the edgy jokes makes me think he’s trying to get his name pulled out of the bucket on kill Tony

Emily

Thank you Bill! Someone had to say it. Doritos, why the hell aren't you funding clinical research to find a cure for postviral loss of taste?

mrg

judgement free number three -- i just died.

Verbose Minimalist

Judgement-free question: Why did you record the opening spiel from a bird sanctuary?

Kimmerfest

Bill had a bag of Doritos in 1998. He's denied himself the pleasure for almost 30 years and the flavor became legendary in his mind. He recently ate a handful of Doritos and was sorely disappointed.

Neural Damage

as a podcast pervert, I must praise your LEGENDARY hit rate for introducing me to great podcasts (just in the past few months: Rebel Ever After, Medium Literate, Workers' Lit, Anime Sickos, and now Posting Through It)

As someone with an eating disorder history, the Dorito thing makes sense. I, and many women I knew, would lick the powder off and toss the chip to avoid gaining weight. The worst part of Doritos and Cheetos is when they aren't super powdery because it doesn't feel worth it to lick/suck them and then spit them out.

Deb

I just kinda figured that's what Takis, and the Doritos knockoff version of Takis, were for. Like, I can't taste anything anymore, but I can still feel burning lol.

William

Bill Maher’s current state of mind can, for the most part, be summed up as "I believe everyone should be legally and constitutionally obligated to like me and invite me to their parties, no matter what an asshole I am."

Deb

Not liking this as in "this is cool," but liking this as in "I hadn't thought of that. That's a good point."

Betti Tristan

I would suggest that if he does happen to be in the throes of a regressive neurological condition, it's actually something we should have eyes on, and to ignore it at this point would be equivalent to the sanewashing of the current president.

Neil Muck

I think you've covered this episode before lol

Will Weldon

When?! WHEN?! WHY DOES IT FEEL THIS WAY

Neil Muck

I swear I've heard that same exact bit about thanksgiving but I think Bill's just such a prolific self plagiarizer that he's probably said it 5 times in 2 years on various platforms

Verbose Minimalist

I love him saying "True Dat" not just because he sounds ridiculous, but he's responding to the intro because he is clearly reading it for the first time off the teleprompter during the show!
