there was a papers with the hands. each hand had a number so you had to match the number to the hands that was on the book with the code which was 2:4 so the row 2 and column 4. i think i can be wrong hahaha

Yeah, there were 3 clue sheets- one had the hand signs and corresponding numbers. The other 2 clue sheets (the ones with the wingdings type symbols) had the Korean alphabet (Hangul) on them. One sheet had all the vowels and the other had all the consonants. The wingding code below the red squares on the back page of the diary just spelled out 무적황금 지우개, meaning "invincible golden eraser" in Korean.
