Aaaaaand Cadence wins the pony poll! Fun fact, I started drawing Chrysalis but had to change it when I noticed Cadence had suddenly snatched the lead. I’m thinking I may do the occasional pony poll with you guys. :3 I forgot how much I missed drawing lil horsies~

Anyway, a bad bitch butch Cadence for your viewing pleasure. Thanks for voting!

Then Shining Armor is this Smol nerdy gaurd and Candance saw him, said "you're mine now", threw him over her shoulder, & he never got down & is very content to stay up there.

THE BELOVED!! she looks amazing! one of my favorite things about your Cadence design is how you incorporate little hearts into the shape of her ears and her nose patch- it's such a fun lil design detail

QuietZen

I approve this head canon

DamnitDinkles

I love how the colors of her mane look 😍

MiyaLaFlorDorada

Oh I'm in love! She looks so handsome, I love the contrast of female characters with "girly color palette" that look like those shoujo knight designs. Maybe it's weird but this reminds me of my first crush actress, like a real person not anime/cartoon. For Latinos, the soap opera "Doña Bárbara" is a classic and almost everyone knows it, and although I was little, I should not have been watching that soap opera, the only and main reason why I was because of the main character and antagonist/anti-heroine Doña Barbara , ahhhh she was so beautiful! but in a masculinely beautiful way, I mean it was obvious that she was feminine but in a way not like the ladies of the time? The Larino culture is very sexist, especially on the country side and she was violent, bloodthirsty, spiteful, she smoked, shot rifles, drank strong alcohol straight from the bottle, sexually liberated and unashamed of this, she owned an land who ruled with an iron fist, but she was strangely very soft with some of her people, of course she had a tragic past and let's say she was morally gray, a very complex character. I don't know why but I've always had a weakness when women are masculine and men are feminine, and not to mention androgynous or some non gender conforming people, wow there are really beautiful people out there, but since I'm Aroace maybe that's why I focus on beings that I will never have physical contact with, just invented characters, and maybe maybe some real actor person 😅

Consider a small change: Shining Armor is exactly the same, Cadence is just so stupidly strong she can toss him over her shoulders like a sack of flour anyway

ollie c.

OHHHHHHHHH be still my beating sapphic heart 🥹🥹🥹🥹

SmilesPerHour

Ooh dang, Cadence looks so beautiful with mutton chops! :3

KaeWolfe

Goodness look at heeeer 😍😍

feathermaws

This take on Cadence is everything omg💞🫣 Especially with the “ugly ass groom” meme going around

Harmony

AHHHH SHORT HAIR CADENCE IS A GORGEOUS CONCEPT

RagingRiptide

Your take on cadence has always been one of my favorites. Transfem cadence for the win! Her sideburns give me life

If you were interested in doing some pony doodles, I'd love to see some of the newer characters from Fuzzbutts come full circle and doodled in an mlp au. It would be just a wee bit funny I think :3

MEllegoo

I’ve been going through a mlp renaissance recently so this is perfect. I love it

Jason Hutzel

a bit late for this but i'm kinda surprised you never did anything with Celestia's fear of chickens from the between dark and dawn episode considering pandora is so obsessed with them

lopoddity

That was a later episode, right? I was getting kinda bored with MLP at that point. :( Probably would've drawn it if it'd aired in like 2015

D

Are you implying we could have had twink flash sentry

D

This is so gorgeous like it’s embarrassing how much I’m staring

D

Also the heart shaped nose marking ?? She/they is the moment

mailebird

Ah cripes.. I'm gay for a horse

lopoddity

If Flash won, I was going to draw him with sparkly pretty crystal blue eye shadow and killer eye liner. :3 I honestly thought he'd get more votes, I shouldn't have pit him against more obviously popular characters. If I do more pony polls I'll probably give each character in the poll more of a fighting chance, like "Pick a princess", "Pick a griffon", "Pick a background character", etc

lopoddity

Thanks! :D It was nice to discover I can still draw pretty horses with sparkly hair. I thought I'd struggle since it's been a while, but nah, it's just like hopping back on a bicycle

nighthawk0913

Damn, she has nicer sideburns than me lol

Fenn

Gosh I love being gay 😍🫠
