focusing on giving them a distinct sort of visual duality, and also making skyla less of a goddang cadence clone

Lol i like the more unruly coat pattern look to Flurry. In contrast maybe Skyla could have a more uniform looking coat pattern. Almost unnatural.

Flurry having the more unruly coat is definately super fitting, but Skyla's whole conflict is that she CAN'T be the perfect pretty princess. So giving her some kind of ethereal or elven grace would go against that. I've liked the depictions of her bundled up mane and careful grooming so far. She's clearly trying to look unflappable, but personality comes through regardless.

Oh sorry I didnt mean to say that Skyla shouldn't have an ethereal, elven coat but just something linear and well groomed. I agree that she shouldnt have like a perfect coat just something meticulously groomed.
