No matter how much Midnight toys with the powers of necromancy, nothing came close to those horrors than Mrs Cake talking about every detail of the birth of her twins. No Eldritch being could come close to instilling such fear.

Poor Midnight, I can relate to having that one older coworker who probably doesn't intend to be the bane of my existence, but they still lack any sort of filter.

y'know, when you updated the doodle of just Midnight's face, I was tempted to say it looked like someone was oversharing on bodily functions or something. glad to know I was close, lol

you must have predictive powers, cuz when i originally drew it the punchline was going to be Missus Cake rambling on about how she almost got a divorce but was able to rekindle the spark between her and Carrot, then thanking Midnight for listening........while Midnight was very obviously disassociating. Or high. Or both. But I figured Missus Cake oversharing made a better joke~

I was just as surprised, honestly. (My reasoning was that Midnight's face looked like she was caught in the middle of something that made her regret her entire existence. Midnight usually isn't shy about walking away or telling people to shut up or casting a well-placed curse to escape those kinds of situations, so I figured it was probably something she couldn't reasonably escape from, and probably about one of the last things anyone wants to hear about - in my own case, I usually HATE hearing about other peoples' bodily functions in detail, so that was a bit of projecting, to be honest.)

PB usually rolls out the dough with missus cake while Midnight mans the register, but he was sick when this happened, and he can't understand why Midnight refused to cover that shift for him ever again. Did something happen? Missus cake is usually such a good companion - she never runs out of stories!
