Well this only took a goddamn millennium. This page definitely got away from me. I think y'all are gonna see a steady style shift in the comic as I learn how to draw it more simply and efficiently. Anyway I can't believe Skyla fucking died

LOL poor Skyla. And for the record, trying to draw characters consistently is my biggest struggle. You 100% pull it off - Skyla is immediately recognizable in every panel. I really love this comic so far!

Aw thanks! Though this “simple” style ain’t so simple, this took a ridiculously long amount of time to finish. I may upload some more practice panels where I REALLY aim for simplicity. Maybe no shading? Or at least minimal, cuz shading is what took me the longest here

Hmm perhaps reduced shading would help, except for pages that need shading for dramatic effect or when you're trying to get a certain lightning effect. The first four panels aren't too much, but I'd say you didn't really need shading on the silly fifth panel, nor for Skyla on the last panel. Shading provides grounding and reality, and I think for the goofier parts, no shading accentuates the goofiness. Hope that makes sense! ^^"

It does! :) I'll definitely keep trying. I'm weirdly afraid not to shade, idk I just think it'll look too flat and bland? ajhsadffdf I'll try to keep your advice in mind moving forward
