I imagine Irie likes hole in the wall dive bars and dancing and Joe is just hanging around to people watch and more casually socialize. Or maybe that’s not their characters in your mind at all idk

Can we get more skyla, flurry heart, and pandora ideas? I feel like while young Skyla saw Flurry flee from the awful expectation of being a perfect princess. Then years later she saw her cousin (that I think she loves very much) flee from similar fate. While Skyla thinks she has to carry a mountain about being perfect. So how does she cope with it other than the enjoyment of hard liquor.

I’d like to see a lot of characters on thier “first day of school. Bonus points if a parent is blubbering when trying to let thier babie go. I love wholesome family stuff, espically with babies. Maybe this is me saying “more babies”. Baby pictures? First words? Making thier first friend? (Rose and Aero come to mind)

I'd be interested to see your take on a jerkass character. Nearly all of your OC's have had some less than flattering moments in the past, but have all been "redeemed" in some way. Chakra was an asshole but mellowed out when he found Noctis and Primrose; Zipper Flash and Stormy were arrogant hotshots who met someone and lost the nastiness; Pandora was never evil per se, but mostly just mischievous and troublesome; Ember got set straight by the military and made a career. Most characters you've developed are either relatively positive on the morality meter, "redeemed", or actually not that bad once you understand them a bit better. (None of the above is meant as criticism, just a meta observation of your work.) And yes, we all know *that* unicorn is the "big bad" of the Pandoraverse, but we obviously can't see more of that for spoiler/story reasons. What I would like to see is Lopp's take on a legitimately "bad" character. Someone who stands at least a solid negative 45 on the morality meter, and doesn't seemingly have a redeeming feature or motive. They aren't a horrible monster, murdering indiscriminately or anything so plebian, but you sure as fuck don't want to be in thier social circle, or be too friendly with anyone in thier social circle. "I'm going to break you, I don't know how; I don't know if it's going to be emotionally, spiritually, financially or physically; regardless you will learn not to cross me." .... Or Primrose and Ash getting some "life lessons" from Abuelita, maybe with a side slice of Noctis embarassment? That'd be cool too. ^^

Yay, I've got a couple of things. (edit, fixed formatting :)) 1.In an au where Butch would have lived, who would win in boxing, Butch or Phoenix? 2. Would Huck, finding out Magnolia works in a beauty salon, ask to see if his sister Ambrosia could work there. How would that turn out? 3. Can changelings survive of each others love? Let's say, Chrysalis is hungry, would the love of her subjects and/or daughter be enough to feed her? And how does that work the other way around?

I would love to see Smoky and Artemis interacting based on their careers. I'd imagine they are professional rivals seeing how Smoky is like a CIA agent and Artemis is the head of the royal guard. But I'd also like to see Artemis kicking ass as a top tier combatant against criminals. I don't think we've seen exactly what kind of professional Artemis is yet.

I could imagine maybe at least one family would be a hell storm when the photographer finally does get the shot XD For example, one child is crying while another is throwing something or trying to escape. Moar on Pegasus courting headcanons! -Young jerk-jocks-in-love going through their own version of tender courtship....in that Bell and Dash challenge each other to every sport known to ponykind and try to both impress the other with their superior skill, and also crush their beloved into the dirt in a humiliating defeat. Ah, love. -Stormy trying his best birb self to floof his lovely feathers and fly oh-so-fast and flex his wondrous wings in an effort to get his oblivious af earth pony crush to notice what a perfectly marvelous mate he'd make. And yet, Stormy some times doesn't realize he's doing this until Bruce makes a concerned comment about why Stormy's wings have completely flared out, to the pegasus's mortification It takes Pearly getting sick of this shit DAMN IT she wants her dads together already, to start mimicking courting behavior in front of Bruce for his brilliant biologist brain to suddenly kick in finally. Observing and documenting Pearly's new behavior eventually leads him to make a sudden connection the next time Stormy instinctively tries to court him.... Aaaand now THAT seed had been planted and no amount of gay panick or denial was going to change the fact that Bruce had felt...hope - Finn struggles sometimes with being born with deformed wings, and though he has plenty of love and support from friends and family that he loves himself too...yeah some times it still sucks, especially when you get a big dumb birb crush on your best friend and you can't show off beautiful wings or fast flying Of course Oddball is a draconequus and....ODDBALL, so most courting tactics are wasted on the book noodle anyways, to Finn's everlasting exasperation However, when they are actually a couple down the line they do find their own special ways to court each other. Finn can still floof out his neck feathers and warble, and collects all sorts of special treasures and sea shells for Oddball (which the other stashes away protectively)....and Oddball may find himself being coaxed into singing for his teeny best friend and love.

Y’know, I considered offering an NSFW patron tier, buuuut I don’t think I’d draw enough adult content to justify it. It’s just rare that I want to draw anything more than like a clothed character striking a suggestive pose, or maybe making a pg-13 joke. Did you have an NSFW idea in mind? If you don’t mind me popping in to toss in my two cents here, I feel like the reason a lot of characters turn out to not be too bad is the fact that “badness” is very often a really morally-grey area in the real world and isn’t really ever super cut-and-dry as a lot of fiction might lead us to believe. Basically no person in the real world is a terrible human being just for the hell of it, there’s almost always some underlying factor that’s causing them to behave the way they do. And I think that’s what I really like about the world that Lop’s set up, that there are very few explicitly ‘bad’ characters in it. Everyone has their reasons for doing what they do, and those reasons are understandable. They don’t have to be justifiable or excusable, but they are understandable, and that’s a sign of a strong grasp of nuance. But yes I do also get the appeal of character de-evolutions, where their development is negative instead of positive, like what’s happening to Moondancer in the main story arc. This is definitely not me trying to come in and act like I know better either, just kinda tossing out some thoughts here and there and seeing what sticks

I think I saw a comment or two regarding Flurry Heart and Skyla, and I’d love to see those two as well Maybe either the two of them just being dorky siblings together, or if we wanted to go a little more angsty, maybe Flurry trying to test the waters and ask Skyla if she likes being a princess, and Skyla not catching on about what she meant until one day her big sister just up and leaves. I’d honestly love just hearing Skyla’s thoughts on Flurry as a whole after she left. Like does she resent her? Miss her? Maybe envy her just the tiniest smidgen? I am once again just tossing ideas around like a circus clown

Aye, feel like I may have meant one thing and said something else. You are absolutely right, personally I would argue that "black and white" morality just straight up doesn't exist beyond premise. The second you ask for even a single additional detail about any circumstance the colors begin to mix. What I was getting at was how everyone seems to become a "better" person, subjectively speaking. When characters have previously been less than upstanding, (Huck, Bruce, Aerostorm, Chakra, Phoenix, Smokescreen, Montezuma, Magnolia, Zipperflash, Blueblood,) they've undergone an epiphany and changed for the *better*. Now it goes without saying that there's nothing wrong with that; heck it's competent writing, but what I want get a peek at is when a character doesn't change or changes for the worse. Just to throw out a hypothetical: A pony character who grew up disadvantaged to parents with criminal leanings, his nature was nurtured out of him via a general lack of care and the culture he grew up in. Lack of socialising, opportunity and means led him to a life of crime. Once he fled from his home he used what he knew to survive, stealing food, water and materials to build shelter. But once he was fed, watered and had a passable roof to sleep under, he realised there were other things to steal. An origin of hardship and struggle has made him strong, fast and competent and he realises he can leverage these things to make his life of crime easier. Intimidation to physical assault become easier and easier until he's making out like the proverbial bandit. Now he doesn't necessarily kill his victims or horifically injure them; the law might "tolerate" a bit of theft here and there but murder and grievous injury? That's just bad for business; besides, people can't get more stuff for you to steal if they're dead. Now, the inevitable happens: our man gets caught. Cuffed, courted and 'carcerated. (Yeah, I know it's terrible english but damnit I saw the added alliterative appeal and damnit I deserve nice things too.) So what happens next to our amoral asshat? A fellow prisoner shows him what awaits in the big house? A parole officer with a suprisingly low reoffending rate knows just where to send him to turn his life around? Haha... Not a chance. For our little pony has a very special talent for escape artistry, a talent he leverages to get out of any and every prison he ends up in. Bust out, skip town, build up somewhere else, recoup losses and learn lessons. The moral epiphany is "Why should I change when I can't be punished?" And before long our little pony has gained enough street smarts to stay off the radar and out of trouble, whilst still managing to illicitly come by everything he needs. Culminating in a shady character who isn't afraid to do what he wants to get what he wants? Is he devoid of morality? No, but does that necessarily mean he's going to help a little foal in need? Well he may point them in the right direction, equally he may shove them out of the way and tell them to stop wasting his time. Depends on how he feels at the time, or if he has anything better to do. That's the kind of thing I was trying to get at. Sure you can understand how they ended up where they are but that doesn't necessarily make them a good person, or even a sympathetic one. That's the kind of thing I was trying to get at. ^^ Edit: Our guy gets caught and actually *can't* escape because he's just constantly monitored under an armed guard, untill he's eventually lead to an interrogation room where a conversation with this gist happens: "So I understand that you're good at theft, break-ins, throwing hooves and grand escapes?" "What of it?" "How would you like to get paid for it? All your records mysteriously vanish and suddenly someone wants to give you money to do what you were doing anyway? Perhaps not quite as lucrative or exciting as a life of crime but still a trade-up nonetheless." ".....and what should I call you?" "You can call me Agent Sweetie Drops." And then Agent Rogue becomes Smokescreens foil character, and he's still a grade-A asshole to everyone he interacts with. I realise this runs kind of counter to what my initial proposal and rebuttal described but he's still doing the right things for the wrong reasons. (Also Lopp I sincerely apologise for dropping walls of text and story crafting in your comments section. I will..... try.... not to let it happen again. Plzdon'tbanme=3)
