Pros and Cons:

Pros:

I regularly use some of these in my Daily Driver, and if you handle them with care, they can be really fun to paint with

Turner watercolor tends to be a more budget brand, without being totally student grade, so they be an affordable option for newer painters, folks who want interesting colors on a budget, or folks who DO NOT DO TONS OF LAYERS OR MIXING

These set up and reactivate from half pans really well

The colors, in masstone, in this set are really pretty

Cons:

These do not really mix or layer well, overall

In dilution, most of these colors just fall apart (probably from the addition of PW6, they just lose all chroma)

The Verdict:

Some very pretty colors, and if you handle them with care and don’t already own these colors, they can be a great addition, especially to folks who

Paint immediately and thickly, so like, loose florals

Are going to use more opaque colors for highlights and surface design
