Next Saturday is the Livingston Book Fest, a free book festival in Livingston Parish hosted by the Livingston Public Library!

I've never had the pleasure of tabling at Livingston Book Fest, but as they combined it with their Comic Con this year, I knew I had to give it a shot. The photos below are from last weekend's Terrebonne Comic Con, taken after we set up the night before.

I will be in the author tent because, despite it all, I make books, and I've been not so secretly working on an illustrated book of Louisiana foods.

Since my space is limited, I'm bringing a curated selection of 7" Kara, Lilliputian Living, as well as my Louisiana food signed art prints and my new range of Louisiana greeting cards!

These examples are kinda terrible because Catprint sent me a bunch of cards with ink splots all over them, so these are actually my 'hey these cards are messed up' photos, but we're in the process of replacing those with a reprint. I dont have product photos YET, but I will hopefully later this week.

That said I am super excited for the new designs, I spent all July coming up with bangers.

The show is 11am-4pm, which feels downright leisurely after last weekend's 8am-7pm. While I HOPE this isn't my last in person event for 2026, nothing else has been confirmed, so come by and say hi!
