Tomorrow I'm teaching my 3rd-6th graders a class on breaking down the world volumetrically and drawing volumetric shapes.  This is one of my favorite methods for understanding and recreating the world around me, and I thought I'd share the resources I created for them with you guys!  Drawing 3D Shapes reference printable (pdf):

Sample Still Life Reference: https://drive.google.com/open?id=15TNIqWiLxgauq77bbk_eyotc0NeuCs5v There's a printable of practice shapes (if you need it), two videos (one covers the basics of freehanding basic geometric shapes), and a reference photo you can print and draw over as you follow along the still life video!  If you feel like you've missed some of the fundamentals of drawing, this lesson's a great one! (the PDF and the photo are Backer Exclusive, the videos are early access, and this class has been added to my Making Comics Course doc!) If you want feedback on anything, reach out to me via The Paintbox, our Discord server!
