Unfortunately I accidentally erased my own comment..gah! Lol. Anyway, I wanted to say that all of your etegami cards are so beautiful. The way you formed the leaves with negative painting also gave a very beautiful effect. I have never done negative painting but I know what it is and would like to try it sometime. I can't pinpoint the effect that it has, but it is very pleasing to the eye. Not harsh...I like the objects that are implied, I guess. I also thought your Bird of Paradise from your video this morning was gorgeous (of course). I loved that you utilized so many colors in your Holbein set. And I like how you painted the leaves (I think you had a minty color in there that I love on leaves). My sumi brushes should be coming in the next week or two (I had to order them from an independent store elsewhere as my local brick and mortar do not have them). I might have to use my Bee watercolour paper or Canson watercolor paper (the one with the blue cover), as my local store does not have etegami paper (although they do have rice paper and nearly every other paper known to man lol). Anyway, I am excited at the prospect of putting aside even for a moment being overly critical of my artistic skills. I love that etegami was created from that sort of thinking, wanting to have an rt form that wasn't all about perfection. My apologies for this block of text. For some reason I cannot use my return key in Patreon comments. Anyway, hope you and your family are having a wonderful weekend.
