Ok, so this one DOES require a specialty material- a plastic 2 piece snap together ornament.  Sometimes you can find them at Dollar Tree, but I got mine at Michaels.  I also recommend glitter- I'm using large flake iridescent glitter, but pom poms, paper shreds, snowflake punches- those would all be super cute as well!

Materials Needed

Lineart or colored illustration printed on a single sheet of heavy cardstock or watercolor paper- if you're printing at home and using 8.5x11 paper, your paperchild will be a little smaller than my elves.  I used Canson XL watercolor paper (9x12, from Walmart) and the Qor Mini Palette, plus a tube of gouache, for all the paperchildren.

Scissors

XActo Blade

Double Stick Tape

Foam Tape

Adhesive of choice (I'm using Tombow's permanent tape runner)

Large flake glitter or something else to act as 'snow'

Plastic snap together ornament

Ribbon or something to hang your ornament with

Single Sided Tape

When you cut out your paperchild, save that paper!  We use it to create the base and reinforce the paperchild!
