A little peek into the process!

Thumbnails are one of the first visuals (outside of character designs and collecting reference) I create that help me figure out the look for a comic.  I work a little larger than some artists- these are 2"x3", and I try to work clear enough that others can read and critique my thumbnails.  Since 7" Kara is all ages, I generally try to create visuals that even a nonliterate reader can understand and follow, and strong, clear thumbnails helps with that!
