A Sad Update: September 22nd (Patreon)

Hey Artnerd,

My aunt, who lived with my mom and was a major part of my adult life, suddenly passed away from a complication related to lung cancer this past Sunday. While I don't want to get into the details, I thought I should mention it because she was frequently on my Crafternoon Streams during 2021. And because obviously this has had an impact on what I'm releasing and will continue to have an impact for awhile.

Art and grief aren't not enemies in my life. During and after my dad's hospice, I was creating comics and art. Though the subject matter changed some.

My priorities have shifted for the time being. While we kept bedside vigil and made funeral arrangements, I have a bunch of events scheduled for October. So getting back to regular online content is going to take awhile.

Videos are in queue to schedule for early access for you. I'll try to schedule them this weekend (if I have the spoons). Sorry I skipped updates last week; the way Youtube handles Unlisted videos and Scheduling makes scheduling videos far in advance incompatible with Early Access sharing. Generally I can work around it, but in times like this, it's hard.

I know you are an understanding and generous person. And simply saying "My Aunt passed away" is enough. But our relationship, and the obligations on my side are important to me. Meeting those obligations helps give my life rhythm and gives me a chance to reflect and breathe. It's important to me to resume that aspect of my life once things settle down.Now, a bit of good news.

After MUCH back and forth with KDP (which I discuss in the big vlog I'm working on), 🥁🥁🥁 we were finally approved and placed our first order of coloring books 🎉!

Having them for CXC is dicey 🤞. But I will have them after and will update the Nattoshop when they arrive. They will be available on Amazon (at a higher price and without any options for customization or dedication) sooner.
