I updated my Watercolor Basics presentation for this year's adult Watercolor Class, and thought I'd share it with yall!  I didn't create a new video or series for this year, but I'll link last year's Watercolor Crash Course Series, because I think it's great and deserves more love! There are seven classes in the crash course, aimed at helping you build confidence as a watercolorist- regardless of whether you can draw or not! We start off with an introduction to my work and background, to give yall a basis for what to expect.  Then we have a little fun and explore some watercolor concepts by painting free floating jellyfish.  Afterwards, we talk about my recommended watercolor supplies- a great place to start before you shop! After you've got your supplies, we talk about several different types of color mixing, and then we build on the techniques you'll need to paint with confidence.  We put those techniques to use in context painting a field of wildflowers, and finally, we wrap it up by painting a watercolor illustration together, which gives us a chance to talk about how I like to handle my paint and water control!
