Sketchy Business- Patreon Newsletter July 6th (Patreon)

Hey Artnerds!

What I've Been Working On:

On Friday, I decided to do a live stream.  I really miss livestreaming, but health issues (both family and my own) and energy levels have made that challenging lately.  Grabie sent me the July subscription box to review, and I thought a live stream was the perfect way to check it out.

The stream was a lot of fun!  I'm really impressed so many people were able to make it, given how impromptu it was.

My webcam's screw adaptor has been rutted out for awhile, and I've repaired it several times, but nothing really worked.  In a last minute attempt to glue it back into the socket, we accidentally glued our mic arm adaptor to the webcam, which fixed the webcam's stripped threads issue, but meant we were out the adaptor.  This meant I couldn't use my regular Joby mount for recording, and my gooseneck clamp wiggles way too much for recording anything longer than a couple minutes.  Joseph ordered another adaptor, but it took a while to come in, so I focused on digital work while waiting.

Digital WIPS

These have been printed, penciled, and stretched, so hopefully, I'll get to paint them soon!

I'm working along the theme of Louisiana foods, but I also wanted to throw in some Louisiana festivals!  Yall might have seen this in the email newsletter, so I won't go too far into it here, but yall can see why I don't do sketchbook tours- my sketchbook is full of really loose, sloppy thumbnails.
