Hey Artnerds!

What's Going On:

Still dealing with medical stuff- my own and family.  While some things are much better (my mom's out of her cast and can drive herself), my time still doesn't really feel like my own, and is often challenging to manage.  Although I have a nice little backlog for Youtube, I don't for early access, although I have a lot of stuff recorded that needs to be edited.  I've been pulling a lot of late nights trying to keep my head above water, but I honestly hope that things will start to even out soon.

Working on 7" Kara:

Progress is very slow, but I'm trying to get paint on the paper when I can.

Working on a tablet review:

A company called Frunsie contacted me and asked if I'd be interested in reviewing a graphics tablet for them.  Intrigued, I said sure!

I don't want to spoil the review, but I'm really glad they sent it.  It's just a little Android tablet with a stylus, but it ended up being just what I needed for what I'm going through right now.  It's a compact, portable, unobtrusive little tablet that can run several art programs, and it's perfect to stash in my bag, or just carry along with me.  It doesn't take up much space, so even if I'm sitting in a doctor's waiting room, I can spend my time doodling or inking.  It also gave me the opportunity to REALLY try out several free and lightweight little art programs that I've wanted to try out for awhile, and it gave me the chance to share what I found with yall.  Here's some of the black and white lineart I've created, along with the programs they were created in.

This review ended up exceeding scope both in a good way (I really enjoyed using it, wanted to test out more programs, and wanted to spend more time with it) and in a bad way (there's a LOT of video to edit, it ended up going really long, I'm difficulty finding time at home to both edit video and record voice overs, the file itself is kinda unwieldy).  These kinda bottlenecks are often difficult for me to deal with  and can slow down the rest of my workflow, especially if there are issues during editing.
