Hey Artnerds!

How has your week been?  I feel like last week just blew by!  What's been going on?

I got a little shout-out on Challenger's Comics + Conversation this week!  Joseph got me listening to Challenger's a couple years ago, and while I don't run a brick-and-mortar comic shop, there's a lot of common ground with being a convention artist, and found their podcast entertaining and uplifting.

Earlier this year, Pat contacted me to see if I would be interested in designing the bookmark for this year- their 15th shop anniversary!  As a fan, I was delighted to be commissioned to draw comic shop podcast fan art, and pitched a few ideas.  We landed on what happens in a comic shop after dark- the Lilliputians come out to enjoy the comics!

I was also commissioned to do Pat and Dal's portrait for the other side, and yall know I love a good theme!  I REALLY enjoyed this commission- Pat was super easy to work with, clear with what he wanted, and provided reference and feedback!  I hope this inspires those of you with You as a Lilliputian commissions from the Kickstarter to get back to me with your reference, or if you didn't get the form, to please get in contact with me!  I also hope this inspires those of yall in Chicago to go check Challengers out!

I'm still working on the vlog for this- I recorded the process to share with yall, so now that it's been shipped and received, it's time to wrap that up and share it with yall!

Restocking Prints and Ordering New Ones:

To prepare for my fall shows, I'm restocking popular art prints and adding a bunch of new ones!  The restock has already arrived, and I'm waiting on a print proof for the new ones, but I'm really excited to see how they turned out since my experiences with Catprint have been great.

Comic Progress:

Here's the thing that's been taking up my whole week.  A batch of three pages this time.  I think it's neat to see how the pages develop over the days.  I haven't been home a whole lot, so I haven't been able to sink the hours necessary into these pages, so progress is a little slow, but at least it's happening!

Christmas Cards:

I've started picking at some Christmas Card designs on my little tablet while out and about.  These are loose sketches, so I will tighten them up quite a bit.

Christmas Eve Gumbo:

Christmas Beignets:

Tiger Cub Stocking:

I want to release sets of eight cards- either 2 of 4 designs, or 8 unique designs, so I have a lot of work to do to get these finished up!
