Video Assembly Guide

Another expansion of my Pokémon Card Storage, styled after the amazing Great Ball! This uses the same bottom pieces, drawer, and push push mechanism as the original Pokémon Card Storage. This design maintains all the original features and top pieces are even interchangeable, so feel free to customize to match your other decor or mood!

The 3mf file is set up for easy printing, with all recommended settings preset and each piece of the Card Storage sorted onto the appropriate build plate.

After extensive testing, there have been several changes to print settings and print speeds for various parts in this design. It is HIGHLY recommended to use this file, or at least start here and change based on your own results

The stl file is available for those who would prefer working with that file format.

Recommended Settings listed below.

This will be the basic settings changes needed for a successful print, for more detailed setting changes it is recommended to use the included 3mf file.

Recommended Settings:

Use PETG for the Spring

While PLA will work, it will deform easier over time. PETG resists this deformation much longer.

Wall count increased to 3

Infill reduced to 10% and changed to Cross Hatch

Normal supports on build plate only

This is required for the top pieces for the Box and Drawer

This is recommended, but not required, for the Bottom - Drawer piece

Are the bases interchangable? The Top Loader version of the Great Ball, the base has branding that can't be changed. Can I just grab a different one?

Oops! I'll go through and fix the .3mf files, but yes that bases are interchangeable.

Did you use bambu filament and what colour codes did you use? I'm trying to get colour accurate results :)

Yes, I primarily use Bambu Lab's Matte PLA Filament. For the Great Ball I used Marine Blue, Scarlet Red, Ivory White, and Charcoal

Fab, I have those exact ones! 😊
