Thangs was designed from the ground up for 3Dprinting. Uploading, organizing, and updating the files is much better too.

We are still posting here it just takes a bit longer due to how Patreon handles the files. We pinned this post because there is loophole in Patreon's code that allows people to sign up even if a tier is sold out, but they don't have access to download anything and we give them a refund.

Ah thanks, didn't know that. Long time printer (rc scale work and whatever else came along) but doing this whole "sub" thing is new to me. Just switched lol

It's not exactly 1:1. The personal license is still $5 but the commercial tier is $7. We do have a coupon code for everyone who is on Patreon already "PATREON2024" this will give you 30% off your first 3 months.

So I just upgraded my free account to $5 mo. on patreon. Does that mean I should cancel membership here and go to thangs because there is a tier available?

Yes, I'm working on fixing it. Patreon updated something and it changed a bunch of our page. It's also stuck gray and I can't make it pink again :(

I lost access to all the files. I thought we were also able to access via my mini factory. With other makers I can find my files backed up there. When I go to thangs it’s asking me to become a member. I should already be one.

I was wondering the same thing. If I join on Thangs, is there a delay to have access to files? For example, would the March items be included the same as they are on Patreon?

Hi Debbie! So sorry for the confusion. We're not currently taking Patreon subscriptions until we get a few things fixed. Unfortunately Patreon is still letting some people sign up as a "pledge" even though regular subscriptions are sold out. We have issued you a refund for this pledge. We are taking new subscriptions on Thangs https://thangs.com/designer/FunFam3D and are hoping to have our MyMiniFactory account open and Patreon back up soon! Thank you!

What changes did they make cause I’m confused by that comment

The removed the store and completely changed how files are uploaded, stored, accessed, indexed, and presented to the subscribers. Now instead of 1 location that is set up in a way that make sense the files are inside of "posts" that populate in a long list.
