After watching these two music videos together it kind of surprises me that "Fifteen" is played on the album before "You Belong With Me". One is like longing for someone that doesn't see you and the other is a bittersweet, soft ballad reflecting on those times. I thought these videos would pair up great and wasn't let down. ABIGAAAAAAAAIIILLL 😂

Your reaction to the flawed men in her videos are SO funny to me 😂 Junior Jewels is one of taylors iconic looks that people still dress up to to this day. Saw 100s of those shirts at the eras tour! I love Fifteen. When the song came out i was 15 and it really did help me through. Now i hear it and feel nostalgia and look back at so many things. I mean im 31 now but i can still feel the impact it had on me when it came out. Also love how you mention Enchanting so much… stay tuned for the next era 😉 I don’t think Taylors mom forbid taylor from wearing red lipstick, at least i’ve never heard that before. I do know though that she started wearing it a lot after a photoshoot where they added red to her lips and she never really wore it much before that. You’re doing great at combining music videos. 😍 Although for the next era im gonna guide you a little because 2 of them fit together. Can’t wait until you see Journey to Fearless now

This was a perfect pairing! *chef’s kiss* The story behind the “Junior Jewels” shirt is that it’s supposed to represent the type of homemade t-shirt people make at band camp and then everyone in their instrument section or the band members from their grade sign it. The Junior Jewels t-shirt is now legendary - people try to recreate it all the time to wear to her concerts etc. I have a Christmas ornament of it from Taylor’s site lol (and yes, I have a whole Taylor Christmas tree - but that’s another story). It’s so big that when the Eras tour went to Brazil in the fall of 2023 they projected the Junior Jewels shirt onto their iconic Christ the Redeemer statue on Rio! 😂 I wish I could post a pic of it here but if you google it you can see it. The You Belong With Me video was partially filmed at her brother Austin’s high school at the time. Abigail is amazing and you can follow her on IG, she has a great husband and had a baby boy in the past year. Taylor and Miley Cyrus did a duet at the Grammys of Fifteen, it’s really good if you’re interested in reacting to it. And that reminds me, the actor in You Belong With Me was Miley’s love interest in the Hannah Montana movie. This all just reminds me of why Taylor is loved the way she is - being near her age she just knew how to eloquently and deeply describe what me and all of my friends were feeling. She’s the most relatable human ever (even until this day - I don’t know if you saw the videos of her visiting sick kids in a hospital this past Friday but it was beautiful). I know it’s wild to call a superstar billionaire relatable, but Taylor just is.

The "THEN WHAT WERE YOU DOING BUDDY" in You Belong With Me killed me 🤣🤣🤣 also, I giggle every time you describe something as "enchanting", you will know why in the next era 😊 I absolutely LOVED this double feature and you commentary on it Juke, the two songs really do explore such contrasting views on love from a different age I guess, one while still in high school and the other looking back on it while a little older and wiser. I caaaan't wait for you to watch Journey to Fearless!! 😊 It is such a great docu series that captures her success story from Debut to Fearless, you get to see her personality in the little interview parts and plus, the clips from the Fearless tour are just so so nostalgic. Fearless was the era I became a swiftie in - it was actually my first ever album that I bought and I used to listen to it on my hot pink plug in stereo 😂 But as a fellow Abigail, I lost my minddd at 10 years old hearing that lyric in fifteen for the first time. Even now at 26 it still makes me smile because I just think back to that time 🥰

Fifteen is maybe Taylor's most important song for me. I became a fan of hers at 7 (debut), I was about to turn 9 when Fearless came out, I listened to this song on repeat on my first day of a school year every year until I graduated school. I felt like it was a conversation with a big sister I never had. "Take a deep breath as you walk through the door".

The difference between the og and rerecording of fifteen is so emotional to me because the age of her voice changes how the song hits. In the og I feel like it's very college kid telling their younger sibling how to avoid some of the mistakes they made in high school, while the rerecording mature vocals make it sound like an adult understanding that teens will inevitably make mistakes, but saying that they'll be there to support them through it all
