Adela did place 20 in the fan voting but Hinari placed 14 and still got eliminated, so I think them saying it had something to do with fan voting was a cop out. In my opinion they never wanted adela in the group, they always taught she would be better as a solo artist. They definitely wanted to create drama and shake the girls up by taking Adela so early but it's still so unfair for Adela, she only had the chance to show her dancing skills to the public, she never showed how great of a vocalist she is or if she is stable or not in singing and dancing at the same time. I feel like if you are a judge and constantly place Adela in the top 5 for EVERYTHING, the fan voting based on a dance cover wouldn't make you eliminate her, idk this just feels weird. But I am grateful that she is doing good as a soloist!

idk man, nikki is like a feather to them compared to the real kpop systems in korea lol, every person that have ever dance have deal with this kind of criticism from at least a teacher , you cannot always be soft

This is when I feel like they were being really shady towards Manon. Like the editing is crazy. Why are you showing a therapy session on camera? and why show the parts when you have a group of girls all talking bad about one girl.. thats reality tv for you though. The girls frustration was understandable but thats not Manon's fault that people connected with her. I blame the company for turning this into a survivor show with all of the contestants being unaware that it was coming.

adela's elimination was definitly unfair ... its 50/50 between fanvotes & judges and thats what saved megan so they clearly just wanted her out

so firstly adela should have never been eliminated this early like no offence there were so many other people they could’ve eliminated and I’m not even talking about Ilya! However, her leaving was a blessing because to me adela was always meant to be a solo star I saw it from the first episode! her solo music showed me exactly why, she’s like a mix of gaga and ava max! Also, I’m going to be the one to defend manon here, I get the girls are frustrated at her and they have very right to be but imagine being in manons shoes, she herself knows that she’s here because of her looks, she hasn’t trained in ballet or dance since the age of 3, she also doesn’t have the vocal ability of sophia or lara, I too would be insecure and lose all motivation, how would you even compare to that? It’s easy to lose faith and then self sabotage. She did not have the discipline and prior experience like the other girls did so I get why she behaved the way she did. She got the opportunity to prove to the girls that she does care which is the main thing and I’m so hapoy to see her thriving and being the star everyone saw she could be!

People took what the other members said about Manon and run with it. To this DAY they still try to say the girls have beef even after the girls came out and said that they're like sisters and they dont care about this anymore, and are clearly cool with each other. its crazy

The missions still don't make sense to me even after all these years...cause how are you gonna have two groups do a singing challenge and then two a dancing one...it just doesn't seem fair. Nikky definitely does come passive-aggressive with some of her comments and idc if "that's how the industry has always been" if you get into the position of power YOU should make it your mission to make it as easier as possible (mentally/emotionally) for the next generation. and the fact that they made Hinari audition, picked her and then flew her to America knowing her age and then saying "she's too young" "she needs time" is insane to me. how are you as this big label having Adéla, a contestant, training other contestants dance...you knew how big this project would be but didn't think of hiring teaching assistants, like where are the other two dance teachers?? just finished binging all your reactions to the episodes so far🫂​

Unfortunately, people were actually voting based on nationalities during the survival show. It was one of the downsides of the way hybe x geffen chose to go about dream academy. I don't know why they're acting surprised in the doc though, considering they had the girls nationalities attached to almost every piece of media they put out. Everyone from underrepresented places wanted someone that they could see themselves in to make it into the group. That being said this actually worked against the USA girls because of the whole 'melting pot' effect.
