I can’t wait for you to hear the difference between revamped and the original published recordings of the songs! I love pop/punk/rock Demi so much

Demi goes by she or they now Juke - so don't get too stressed about it x

Anabelle

I knew the plan was to work backwards but Revamped is such an interesting first album if you're not familiar with the original songs. I can't wait for the rest of this journey!

Such a perfect choice to kick start your deep dive and so glad you’re doing it in reverse - this one was like the perfect overture to get into their stuff and it had the injection of energy and empowerment you’ll need for the emotional rollercoaster that’s to come! Be prepared to be hit hard emotionally. I love when artists rework their songs - this felt so significant for Demi: like reclaiming the narrative!

Skyscraper hits so much harder knowing what happened AFTER it was originally released in 2011. </3 Revamped versions of Cool For The Summer and Tell Me You Love Me have slightly modified lyrics: in Cool For The Summmer "go tell your mother" was originally "don't tell your mother" (so now it's not totally illicit, we're gonna 100% own liking girls now!) and in Tell Me You Love Me: "they say" preceding "you ain't nobody til you got somebody" wasn't originally there and Demi said they wanted to put that change as a reflection of realizing that's an unhealthy mindset for attachment :) SO SO SO SO EXCITED for you to get to HOLY FVCK. Life-changing.

This is great, can’t wait for me Demi!

I think it's very insteresting to start the journey with this album. I personally like the original songs more. However, she kills these songs vocally on revamped and I think it's a great introduction. Can't wait to see your reaction to her other stuff. She's such an underrated artist. She's explored so much and has such bangers in all her eras. Can't wait to see your reactions to all of it!!! :)

You need to see the vma performance from this time! It was so good! And sorry to bring Taylor into everything but she was dancing and screaming every word it was so cute

This rock era is EVERYTHING. Don't forget her single SWINE from 2023
