YAY I CANT WAIT TO GET OFF WORK!

Laurasr618

Yay!!! I love red! Perfect for fall ❤️🍁🍂

Tessa Hack

Red OG is the album that changed me from a casual listener to full on swiftie back in the day. Treacherous is my second favorite song in her whole discography ❤️ so excited to watch this! Thanks for all you do Danny!

Melissakay503

It’s my album! I’m such a Red girlie ❤️ fall vibes, got a ORANGE cardigan today 💁‍♀️🤭 let’s goooooo

ray

so much good content from red and red tv era can’t wait !!!

RepTVgirly_showgirl

Ronan?!? Ugh I hope you had tissues, Danny! 😭 Red really is THAT girl and one of my favorite works of hers!!

Cathrine Ahm

Soooo ready to see what you think of Red 😍❤️🧣

elaina fitzsimmons

probably very smart to stop after Ronan and do the rest later. it can make it kinda hard to get back into the vibe of the album after that

Michelle A

So excited to watch this later!!! I’ll be back to the comment section when I do!

Sara Duarte🇧🇷

he didn't like her wearing high heels (lyrics from begin again) because they were practically the same height (5'10") and with the heels she looked taller hahahahah this insecure man

Sara Duarte🇧🇷

"The Moment I Knew" shows how sad her 21st birthday party was, how she cried in the bathroom when she realized that this time they were going to break up for real. And this makes the song "22" much more meaningful, she decided that on this birthday everything would be different.

Isabella Peterson

Oh watching this before bed was a bad idea, now im about to cry myself to sleep 😭 Danny!! I adored your reaction to this, so funny you didn’t know I knew you were trouble was taylor haha. Also i love that you unknowingly did some dancemoves from the eras tour (not gonna spoil which ones) haha! Icon😉 Some things for you: Ed sheeran was actually Taylors opening act during the red tour. More stuff with him will come in your journey and i just LOVE when those two work together! Ed and Taylor are close friends. The Moment I Knew will have an even deeper meaning when you listen to the vault tracks. Especially the 10 minute version of All too Well. The last time is definitely Exiles (ft bon iver) little sister. Now for Ronan… first of all I broke down hearing you talk about your brother and seeing your emotions. And i promise, i’ve never seen a reaction to the song where the person listening doesn’t break down. Its a human response no matter what you’ve been through. Maya (ronans mom) was furious when the Trump admission cut funding for child cancer. She is a very big activist today and I love that she chooses to fight for a better world for the rest of her children. On a brighter note she gave birth to a baby girl after ronan, her name is Poppy Ronan Thompson. Taylor has performed Ronan live twice. Once at a cancer gala, and once on the 1989 tour when Maya was in the audience. She almost breaks down when she sings it. Maya is still in contact with Taylor sometimes and Taylor sent her tickets to the eras tour aswell. I hope you recover from this reaction, the beauty of going theough that pain of listening to the song is that the proceeds go to the ronanfoundation ❤️

The Lucky One is one of my favourite Taylor songs! The Lucky One is about the entertainment industry. Now that she is famous and everyone says she's lucky because she made it and most people don't, she's reflecting on whether she actually is lucky by pointing out the consequences of fame ("you just feel used," "you wonder if you'll make it out alive," "your secrets end up splashed on the news front page", etc.). "They’ll tell you now, you’re the lucky one," is what people say to her. Then after the third verse it switches to "Let me tell you now, you're the lucky one," which is what she's saying to that person who "took their dignity and got the hell out [of the industry]." So now that she's in it, she thinks it may look better to be on the outside and that the person who got out is truly the lucky one, not her. +How I interpret "your lover in the foyer doesn't even know you" is that when you're famous you're given a persona (like how the first line says "new to town with a made-up name"), and/or people make assumptions about you that are often untrue. So the people she dates don't know the real her or don't always stay long enough to try and get to know the real her. (Having said all that, she is not at all ungrateful, and she's said in an interview that any day she's struggling with fame, she remembers that this is what she's always wanted. The song is more of a critique of the industry than specifically about her, especially since some of the details (eg. "made-up name) don't apply to her.)

MadeleineMars

This really hits hard. It’s difficult to dwell on how brutal the world can be but it’s important to honour and remember those who go. RIP Ronan, he brought so much light to the world in his short time here. My heart goes out to you Danny, thank you for being so open and vulnerable with us even though it was painful for you to do. I truly hope your mum can one day be free from guilt, she sounds like such a beautiful person. It makes so much sense that’s where you get it from. Sending love and virtual hugs 🫂

willowswisps

fun fact girl at home in the original red album is very very different. I think its the only song she changed so drastically when she did re-recording of it. Go and have a listen ha ha. The fandom kinda reached a consensus that the reason its so different is bc taylor originally wanted it to sound like what it does in the re-record but her label didnt let her. We know she was fighting really hard for the pop tracks on this album to be on there, they didnt want her to alienate her country crowd so they fought her on having a lot of pop, you'll see her speak on that in the grammy museum for 1989. In the original its a lot more acoustic feeling but yeah I'm glad she decided to change it to what she initially had in her mind for girl at home.

Tyler ✨

I’m sick in bed today, you have no idea how much I needed this. Gonna warm up some soup, get cozy, and react to *THE perfect fall album with you. 😭🍜🍂🕯️❤️

Jasmine Avruskin

Ronan is her saddest song, it’s a skip for Swifties because you can’t hear it without breaking down. But also so important that Taylor did this for his mom and the family❤️

Lauren

You have to react to the "Mary's song x so high school x everything has changed" mash up from the eras tour - we speculated Taylor did this mash up for Travis when he was there supporting her. The lyric in Mary's song "I'll be 87, you'll be 89" she wrote in her debut album which added to the invisible string theory between them - Travis's number being 87 and her album 1989 🥺🫶✨️ sweetest mash up ever 🥹

Pam Delpapa

Great reaction as always! Your appreciation of music just brings joy, thank you! I CANNOT WAIT for you to react to Taylor performing the rock version of “We’re never ever getting back together”. It is one of my fave all time performance!

Jack Smoliga

I knew you were trouble does have 1 billion streams on the orginal one

Liam Mcfarlane

In The Moment I Knew, I always took the line about her friends laughing as being like "They're laughing and having fun because it's a party, but he's ruined it for her and made her feel insecure now so she thinks they're laughing *at* her"

Liam Mcfarlane

If you haven't already recorded your reaction to the second half, it could be a good idea to do All Too Well 10 as it's own video, maybe watch a couple of interviews of her explaining why there's a 10 minute version, then listen to the song and then maybe watch the short film?

Diego Acevedo

Thank you so much for giving red (aka my fav Taylor album) a chance, vault tracks are probably the best ones of all TVs, especially the short film of all too well 10 min version which is probably her best visual work ever, thanks so much again can’t wait to see you next reaction ❤️❤️❤️❤️

madison

sorry i’m not in the discord to suggest but i would love to throw out that the eras tour surprise song for this era (if juke wants to do one) could be the mary’s song/so high school/ everything has changed since he’s heard all those songs now and with how much he liked everything has changed 🥹 an iconic mashup just for travis that is so emotional and beautiful 😁🫶🏻

Amanda Thompson

I love that this album reaction landed in the season right where it belongs 🍂❤️ You weren’t alone going through the emotions I cried the exact line you did in begin again 😂 Then completely lost it with Ronan, I always do! 🥹 Thank you for giving us such a great start to the Red era! ❤️

Krista Grigsby

This is the one I’ve been waiting on!!!!

Isabel

Omgggg okay now I REALLY can’t wait for Mary’s song x everything has changed x so high school 😭😭😭😭 Juke is definitely gonna cry like Travis did 😭😭😭😭

Isabel

Fun fact: Starlight was written based on Bobby and Ethel Kennedys love story lol she dated their grandson Conor Kennedy during this time so she got close to the Kennedys and they’ve even shared this song on their socials before ❤️

hydesbride (Ashley)

Omg yay I gave been anticipating this reaction from when I first discovered your deep dive into Taylor's discography, and of course you didn't disappoint in the slightest! I'm so beyond happy that this album got the most instant saves so far. Hehe it's one of my favorites. I can't choose just one fave Taylor album, because they're all my babies, but Red is just special. 😍 Firstly, I'm so very sorry for the loss of your sibling and that your mother had to go through that. It's beautiful to hear that she found the strength to be such a wonderful mom to her other children, because unfortunately sometimes when a parent loses one child, they end up neglecting the ones they have left. It's so tragic. What an incredible woman your mom is! And you're a terrific son for appreciating all she does for you as much as you do. I'm happy you have that love. You deserve it! 🥰 As for the tracks...I can't tell you how jazzed I am that you love State of Grace as much as you do! It's my favorite opening track of her entire discography! I love the rock sound and the optimism behind it, even though it was about a relationship that didn't work out. The way Taylor is still able to look back at that moment when things were so right and share that pure feeling with us is so moving! All Too Well - this song has always been my all time favorite, and just wait til you get to the vault tracks and get the 10 minute version. That is Taylor's magnum opus. It's what the 9th Symphony was for Beethoven, Starry Night for Van Gogh, Citizen Kane for Orsen Welles. It may sound hyperbolic, but it's legit facts. The journey with that song is so interesting. It wasn't a single, but it became a fan favorite, and we changed how Taylor felt when she sang it. At first every time she performed the song, all she could feel was the heartbreak she lived through, but then hearing the way the Swifties would sing the words so loudly and how we consistently voted the song as her best song ever on lists/polls changed the meaning of it for her to something joyful. For years it was rumored to have a 10 minute version Taylor was forced to edit down. Finally when she announced Red TV she confirmed the 10 minute one was real and would be released. It took over the record of longest song to hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100, replacing American Pie by Don Mclean. Taylor sent Don flowers. So sweet. Anywho, I'm happy you were moved by the 5+ minute version and noticed the way she paints the picture so vividly and also the way that she emphasizes that he remembers all those moments just as much as she does. Also not that who the songs are about to Taylor should be a focus, but for this album, it's largely Jake Gyllenhaal. It helps to know there was an age gap when you go into the 10 minute version of All Too Well. Looking so forward to you hearing it and watching the short film (yep that is Dylan O'Brien hehe) 💔 I love that you pointed out The Last Time being in line with Exile on Folklore! We all kind of feel like The Last Time is a precursor to Exile! It's always been one of my fave duets from Taylor. The song feels like lack of communication just like Exile, and that ending where they say "this is the last time I'm asking you" but they just keep repeating it, is so symbolic! The way we always say it's the last time, but we just keep on begging to be valued over and over. Gah! You ended up getting to the meaning of The Lucky One. It is about celebrity. I love when Taylor tackles this subject matter like on Clara Bow from TTPD, Dorothea on Evermore, and Nothing New (another vault track you'll love from Red). I'm wondering if she'll explore that theme again with Elizabeth Taylor on TLOAS. But yeah, I think the "your lover in the foyer doesn't even know you" shows what famous people go through in trying to find a relationship. They often are sought out for superficial reasons but it's hard to find someone who sees the real person behind the fame. 😕 It's so sweet how moved you are by the hopeful songs like Everything Has Changed and Begin Again. It's adorable. Taylor is so special in the way she can take us to the darkest depths of human emotion but then she heals us and brings out the happiness and optimism in life as well! When you said she makes you feel everything I had a flash to Brooklyn 99. Not sure if you've seen that show, but it's revealed on a lie detector test that Jake's favorite musician is Taylor Swift and he says "she makes me feel things!" and Terry shouts back "SHE MAKES US ALL FEEL THINGS!" bahaha it's so true though! I adore The Moment I knew. I'm a sucker for the cello. And the song is about him being a no show at her 21st birthday. Which damn, it's bad enough to miss your gf's bday, but when it's a milestone one...grr. oh and the people laughing line, I don't believe she means they're laughing at her. I think she is conveying that feeling when you're at a party and you look around seeing everyone laughing and having fun, but you feel completely down and detached from that joy because you're in pain. She talks about her friends being able to see that there's something wrong and following her to the bathroom to check on her. So yeah, I think it's just about Taylor not being able to feel the fun and carefree feeling everyone else can, because her significant other couldn't be bothered to show up for her. I love the song so much because most of the time when we hear "the moment I knew" in a song or story, it's the realization that this person is THE ONE. But in this context it's the moment you know that they are not the one, that it's not going to work. Ouch. 😭 Ronan...God right there with you. The most devastating song ever. It was definitely a good idea to take a break there. Not sure if you heard about this, but the Maga idiots/Trump made this poor mother relive her trauma during the election. They wanted to attack Taylor for publicly supporting Kamala Harris by posting a picture of Taylor crying onto social media. Of course these creeps either didn't know or didn't care that the picture was actually from after Taylor performed Ronan at Stand up 2 cancer. So Ronan's mother had to take to Twitter to beg Maga and Trump, who retweeted the pic mocking Taylor, not use the loss of her son for their political attacks. How disgusting. It was so horrid. 🤬 Anyway, getting away from that vitriol, I want to thank you for such a beautiful reaction and all the amazing content you give us! So happy you're loving Red. Really looking forward to your Vault reactions and the videos/live performances! You rock!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Larissa🌸🪩

I'm sobbing with you😭 I listen to Ronan occasionally to try and help keep streams up but gosh it just completely destroys me every time💔 I'm so sorry for your loss Danny, and your entire family's loss😢 I've lost quite a few friends and family, most to cancer. The youngest was my best friend in middle school John🩵 He was diagnosed with leukemia in grade 6 and underwent treatment and went into remission about a year before the cancer came back, but as a brain tumor💔 RIP John🕊 Great reaction as always. Thank you for your vulnerability, its very refreshing and relatable💙

Jerico Rivera

One of Taylor's PEAK PEAK eras, in my opinion! My most favorites from this album are We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together (OG Version), Everything Has Changed, Begin Again, and The Moment I Knew. I'm not gonna include the ones from the vault because we're not there yet. I'm glad though that you still like the Taylor's Version of We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together but for me it's not really giving. I love Taylor but her version of this song just sounds like she's just singing in a karaoke 😆. The OG is just infinitely better that even when she didn't own her masters yet at the time, I still preferred listening to it over her version hahaha! I Knew You Were Trouble in Taylor's Version is just meh for me as the OG is a thousand times better as well. Not a fan of how the "ohh ohh trouble trouble trouble" was mixed in this version. 22 in Taylor's Version is alright, but still the original is phenomenal. And btw with Girl At Home, the OG version was waaaay different because it was some sort of a country version so I like its Taylor's Version A LOT BETTER. And Ronan... will always be unbearable for me to listen to because of how tragic it is. 💔💔💔 Anyway with the vault tracks, I would like to give you a warning as well about Forever Winter because it somehow relates to suicide, that I read from the internet comments that this might be about one of her very close friends (I forgot the name) who took his own life. Also with the All Too Well 10 Minute Version, most lines that did not make to the shortened version are so gut-wrenching that it made me think about my imaginary ex. 🥹

Taylor Martin

The Halsey realization is absolutely sending me 😂

Isabel

Although I knew Ronan was coming and that it makes me cry every single time I hear it, I still wasn’t prepared for that ending and your reaction 😭😭😭

Veronica Key

I loved everything about this video! I always get emotional listening to Ronan and I also got emotional when you were talking about your mom. I thankfully haven’t had to lose a ton of people in my life. But I do also have a niece who I love more than anything and it makes it even harder to listen to. We almost lost her after she was born but she’s happy and thriving now and about to be 2! Red is in my top 3 albums of Taylor’s. My favorite on here is probably Sad Beautiful Tragic. After All Too Well of course. All Too Well is basically the Swiftie anthem 😂

Mikayla

“What’s that feeling of never being satisfied” oh boy do I have a musical for you!! (Please react to Hamilton)

Jacqueline Goon

J, you have such a kind, loving, caring, and compassionate heart! Ronan is a rough one, and I knew you would struggle to hear Taylor’s lyrics when seeing Ronan’s strikingly beautiful blue eyes and smile and his quiet strength as he fought his battle. My husband lost his battle to cancer four years ago, so I know the sorrow your family is going through. Each day is filled with God’s comfort and his promise of healing strength to endure whatever challenges you must face. Trust in that, and know there are many, many people praying for you, your mom, and family. If you get a chance, read a comforting poem by Christina Rossetti called Remember. It has brought my family peace during the difficult days, and I hope it does you as well. 🕊️✨🤍 Remember - Christina Rossetti https://poets.org/poem/remember

Sonny S.

FYI: those of us who were able to attend an eras tour performance normalized being 22 at any age, so it’s fine if you want to sing it—I do! 😂

michel

Im SO glad you liked holy ground. Now i HIGHLY recommend you listen to the BBC Live Lounge version. Its a must it brings a whole new meaning to the song and i think you would love it!

Glory

I cry every time Ronan comes on and I'm not able to skip it fast enough. Idk if true, but I've read that all money that is made from streams of Ronan goes to childhood cancer research.

Holly (Taylor Smith)

My favorite albums are red and evermore. Many swifties hold All Too Well as her best song ever (as I do), you'll see more of why later. You'll probably do this during the Lover Era, but she did a slow piano version of Holy Ground on the BBC 1 that made that song one of my favorites too. Loved this reaction and glad you're feeling better!!

Emma

Hi - thank you for always being so vulnerable and open minded in all your videos!!! I love watching them and I appreciate you ❤️

stefff

Lovely and emotional reaction, as always! ♥️

Ryan Kelleher

❤️thanks for sharing that with us. I can’t not cry when I hear Ronan.

emmy vornbrock

i don’t normally comment on things but your reaction to Ronan hit me so hard. while i’m sure you’ve heard it a million times, and rightfully so, i just wanted to say that your empathy is a gift and it’s a privilege to see it on screen. i don’t ever take it lightly when a content creator makes the difficult choice to share these raw reactions with the public and i admire your strength in doing so. thank you for always being authentic and sharing your genuine reactions in a way that displays how powerful storytelling in music is and should be. i wish all the good fortune and peace i can offer to you and the people you hold close. in this time and administration that we’re living though i think it is so important to recognize that empathy and vulnerability are strengths and i applaud you endlessly for continuously promoting what you believe in.

Laurel Meng

Thank you for such a raw, vulnerable reaction to Ronan. I was watching in bed and crying with you. This may be a little spoiler but I often see reactors miss the meaning behind Forever Winter (one of the vault tracks), and I wanted to preview that this song is about a loss as well. It hits closer to home for me as I lost a best friend as a teenager in a similar way that the song describes. My heart goes out to you and everything your family has gone through. Thank you for being a lovely example of empathy and emotional honesty ❤️

Brianna Nicole

I haven't finished this video yet, but I just got to Everything Has Changed. Since this made you so happy, please listen to her Travis mashup at Amsterdam N3! I'm not sure you want me to spoil the songs for you, but I can tell you that they're all from albums you've reacted to now. I promise that you'll be so happy Also, I hope you know that you bring a lot of sunshine to a lot of us

Brianna Nicole

One time I was at a Taylor night with a friend and we were not of sound mind to say the least. Around probably 1am, my friend went to the bathroom, and when she came back I was sitting on the steps crying. She asked me what happened and what was wrong—I don't remember this, but apparently I was crying about Jake not going to Taylor's 21st birthday party Not anything in my life, mind you, something that had happened to Taylor a decade ago

Talia Adams

All Too Well and All Too Well (10 minute version) are arguably part of the most important initiation into Swiftie-dom!

John Mark Aguilar

I do recommend reacting to 1989 OG and the vault tracks right after

Sarah Savala

My mom has banned Ronan from being played out loud because it upsets her too much (understandably so). I'm so sorry to hear about your brother. Give your mom a hug from a random internet girlie <3 Pivoting to the other prompts. The Lucky One is basically the prequel to Clara Bow! Starlight is about Robert F Kennedy (JFK's brother, not the....current person) and his wife Ethel during their courtship, and they had 11 kids! (that poor woman. ouchies) My favorites, in no particular order: State of Grace, Treacherous, I Almost Do, The Last Time, Sad Beautiful Tragic, Everything Has Changed, Starlight, and Come Back...Be Here

Karla

You’re my favorite, Juke! Thank you so much for this! 💙 Red is my second favorite Taylor Swift album. ✨

Randi St

"I would get married to this song" not me thinking you would marry the song lmao

Becs Purvis

I'm up to Red, James Bond was an Aston Martin wasn't it?

Carlos

Red is my favourite T.Swizzle album. It was when I just graduated from undergrad school. My friends and I rode all around Tidewater VA blasting Red, 22, IKYWT and All too well. Can’t wait to re-listen and hear/see your take on the record. 🔴

Kieran

I'm not super far through yet but when you mentioned Halsey, I would like recommend their albums! They're all absolutely amazing (and perfect timing to get started since it's the 10 year anniversary of their first album, Badlands!) But so excited to get through the rest of this video! I love you Taylor reactions ❤️

Becs Purvis

Okay finished the whole reaction while drafting content for work. So glad you loved this album I’m pretty sure it’s definitely one Taylor’s most proud of. Devastating to hear about your family and sending love 🤍

James Henry II

Thank you so much for reacting to Ronan, a lot of people who react to this always skip this because of the personal meaning of it and out of respect, but I enjoy that it can be listened to because it helps keep Ronan’s memory alive in the world. I want to give you a big hug becsuee I know how hard that song hit you. As someone who lost their “second mom” to cancer, it hurts to hear songs like this but it’s also a reminder to yes keep them in our hearts and continue to tell stories of them. Thank you for this reaction. 🖤

Alyssa

All of us crying together during Ronan

thatciaraoverthere

Red is lyrically just such a strong album, which I can honestly say for all of her albums, but there are some lines from Red that have really stuck with me ❤️

Carolyn Beland

I'd really love a TTPD revisit after you finish everything and have more context.

Carolyn Beland

The scarf in All to Well is a symbol of a specific type of innocence... If that makes sense.

Stacey

Red is in my top 3 favorite Taylor albums! So many great songs!!

Sarrah Garcia

Can anyone hear girl at home without immediately thinking of Zac Efron, and subsequently the Lorax, no? just me?

Carolyn Beland

Oh man, if you liked Everything Has Changed you absolutely need to add the Travis super mashup from the Eras Tour. Mary's Song, Everything Has Changed, and So High School

ShayMarie

Red! Thanks for always being such a bright spot and a place where we can just set everything aside and have a lovely time watching you experience Taylor's discography. I really needed this today.

Emma Schultz

I’m so so sorry you lost your older brother, seeing you talk about that breaks my heart. Your Mama is one strong woman! Thank you for listening to “Ronan” even though it’s a heartbreaking song it spreads awareness of children’s cancer. I enjoy all your reactions and also just how real you are Juke! Prayers are with you🩷

ShayMarie

I'm so sorry to hear about your brother. No family deserves to experience loss like that. Taylor has only performed it a few times because it is so hard. She did it once on the 1989 tour the night Ronan's family attended. I agree that the administration's actions are abominable and unacceptable and that we should all come together with the brightest minds to create better treatment options for cancer. No family should have to experienrce the trauma that yours has endured. Sending you and your mom love and grace ❤️

Michelle A

This was a very heartfelt reaction and I’m grateful you shared it with us. Red is a beautiful album, and you’ll absolutely adore the three you have left as well (1989, Reputation, and Lover). The song “Red” really resonates with me though it sometimes gets overshadowed by the bigger songs on this album.

Michelle A

I forgot to add that I adore Taylor’s friendship with Ed Sheeran so much - he opened for the Red tour and has “Red” tattooed on his arm in the same font as Taylor’s album! I hope you get to see some of their silliness in upcoming videos. He was a surprise guest in London at the eras tour and she said he is like a second brother to her. 🥰

Josh

Damn, I wish my brothers were like you, Danny.

Sara Duarte🇧🇷

My goodness, I can't believe that in 24h RED is the 11th most liked video on Jukes Patreon

Ronja Floriánková

(The Moment I Knew) I have always seen it as her friends at the party arent laughing AT her, but just having a good time at the party, and she cant enjoy any of it, because HE isnt there.

Alashia

Yay! I've been waiting for this for so long. I knew you'd love red ♥️

Kristie

Thank you so much for sharing your vulnerability with us and I’m so sorry to hear about your brother. No parent should ever have to bury a child!! I haven’t ever been able to listen to “Ronan” without crying and feeling the pit in my stomach. I absolutely love how you let your emotions go through all the processes. It’s a quality that some reactors can’t give in to. Thank you!!!

Ashley 💖

Juke I send you and your family my biggest condolences for y'all's loss. I definitely sobbed with you through that lyric video- I never saw it before your reaction. I usually skip Ronan since it's so sad and it reminds me of when I lost my furbaby to cancer. Thank you for being able to share your raw vulnerability with us.

nora

i am so very sorry for you and your family's loss juke ❤️

nora

when she started singing "oh trouble trouble trouble" i totally got u hearing it as halsey i was like okay i hear it

Tori

Thank you for your vulnerability I was sobbing right along with you 😭 I'm so sorry for you and your family's loss no one should ever experience that, sending love to you! ❤️

Caroline

so she was born in dec of 1989, so she was 22 in 2012 when this came out actually! shes usually a year younger than you think bc of her birthday - signed a dec 1999 baby who cant help but correct lol

niccala

I really appreciate your call out at the end on the need for universal healthcare. my cousin died at 7 from brain cancer and my aunt and uncle had to declare bankruptcy after his death because of all the medical bills in the midst of their unbearable grief. it's so cruel

Cynthia

Do you have a Discord server?

Evgenia

I missed a lot of videos due to travels, work and well, life in all it sometimes unpleasant glory, so I am catching up. First, so sorry about your loss, Danny! I lost my half-sister almost 10 years ago go cancer, she was just short of turning 21. Terrible tragedy, my dad was a wreck for the longest time and we all carried some trauma from this. Second, this album is such a beautiful mix of heartbreaking, gut wrenching sad songs, and then anthems to fun, youth and freedom. Happy, free, confused and lonely at the same time indeed. I freaking cried with you for the last 15mins, I always skip Ronan and Soon you’ll get better off Lover, cause it is always an immediate waterpot sessiob for me.

Aubrey

Just cried with you 💔 great video

ShayMarie

State of Grace- I love how the instrumental picks up and the background vocals fill in the sparse chorus once she falls in love. Great musicality to support her storytelling. Red- Maserati is the quintessential mid-life crisis car for lame dudes. I think she chose it to troll Jake. Because she has described herself as an Aston Martin in imgonnagetyouback.

Ashley Castilleja

Christopher Rowe produced all of her re-records. She still credits all her collaborators from the OG versions. He produced Tays Version but not the OG. We Swifties or at least some were hesitant about the re-records but her mature vocals have just enhanced the albums! Red is literally one of her best masterpieces. The second best vault tracks behind 1989 by a small margin though, til she drops the Rep vault and Debut vault tracks lol she worked w Max Martin and Shellback on this album for the first time and that’s what inspired them to work together on 1989! Red is just that girl lol it should have won album of the year at the Grammys. Love has many shades of color! And her albums reflect that! Red the color has many different versions and could be sad, mad, or head over heels, lovey dovey and this album is where she wasn’t this new artist anymore and she felt she still had to prove herself and honestly some people think she still does and get upset when she doesn’t have an instant hit album, TLOASG. That’s a slow burn album for me as a whole. This album is just always a fan fav not just because of ATW10 but it definitely has sleepers on it.
