Swifties, I made a countdown on Discord for us :) along with Isabella's, The Life of a Showgirl, channel. <3

Also, to me: It's a song about kind of being frustrated with yourself because you have your heart broken and you knew when you first saw that person you saw all these red flags and you just went for it anyway.

I’m most excited for the I bet you think about me mv, one of my favorites clips of her

Did you notice her friends looked away but she held his gaze when he spotted his prey? Sometimes it’s as simple as avoid contact and walk away. The videographer did a great job portraying a dark, creepy vibe with the characters. When you were speaking of a vampiric look, I could have sworn I saw a “Scream” mask behind him; rewound and it was a very pale man wearing shades, also vampiric looking. Gave me chills. Definitely prefer the sexier vibe performed on The Eras Tour! 😵‍💫

This song was a giant pop radio hit when Red came out (along with “We Are Never Getting Back Together” and “22”) even though the album was labeled country. It really cemented that Taylor’s career needed to be much broader than country music, alas the birth of 1989 as the next album - the pop bible. Some say her country career died on the first big downbeat of this song. 😂 They’re just kidding, by the way, as she still sometimes weaves her country roots into some more recent songs. But yeah - this is where her career took a big transition. And I love it.
