this is such a beautifully haunting song lyrically, I remember people asking Demi about her dating Wilmer Valderrama back then and you can tell she was coached to give responses that would take the blame and responsibility off of him with her repeating how he “shut her down” but “I was the one persuaded him”…I love how she called him and Hollywood out for the shady behavior, the flip towards the end and saying “finally 29, 17 would never cross my mind” WHEEEW Can’t wait for you to listen to HOLY FVCK, it’s my favorite in Demi’s discography ❤️

When the song dropped a few days before the album, it started an entire online conversation across various platforms about this scenario with a lot of young adults realizing their own past experience with a significantly older partner when they were much, much younger was wrong and creepy. For anyone (no matter the gender) here that has experienced something like this, I'm so sorry that happened, and it wasn't your fault at all so please give yourself grace and I wish you the best on your healing journey. ♡

I'll never get tired of repeating that what I love the most about Demi is how honest she is. I can't imagine being able to open up to the world with situations as difficult as the ones she went through. I admire her so much and on top of that the music's amazing? ART will set us all free :)
