Renee did cheat on her previous partner with her current partner, which she owns up to like you can hear on ‘I bet you’d like that wouldn’t you’. She is honest about it and is not proud of it. She fell in love with her guitar player on tour, they spent so much time together because of being on tour with one another and it just happened, it wasn’t something she set out for. I can respect her for being honest about it and owning up to it especially in a time where so many people act like it’s not a big deal

She has a song on her first album Snow Angel called poison poison that is about a friendship betrayal/breakup and she has said on her tour that Thats so Funny is a song she wrote about that person again after having time to reflect and feel less angry its all about the heartbreak of a friendship breakup
