Demi Lovato - It's Not That Deep (full album) FIRST REACTION

I love it! I really like the songs Let You Go, Little Bit, Say It, Before I Knew You, and Ghost. It feels more like a summer or spring album to me, so I already know I’ll be blasting it then! I also love the album title, it’s so true. It’s not that deep; it’s just about having a good time and dancing a little! Great reaction as always <3

This is a fun album :) She had fun and it shows. I'm very excited for you to listen to her other eras, she's not afraid of exploring so many genres and she sounds incredible in all of them. I'll be watching that documentary with you and get ready for the next era because, contrary to this one, it's very deep lol.

So I do have to say I think that it’s a little bit of a disservice to yourself doing this deep dive backwards but I understand why at the same time. If you have followed Demi‘s career You would really see how celebratory this album is. She has been singing about such deep, vulnerable stuff for so long. And even when she thinks that she’s confident and in a good place, you can still feel that internal struggle through the music. It’s really refreshing to see her take things so light and un serious and you can tell how happy she is through that. Obviously it’s Demi so you do have to have a little bit of that in the lyrics but overall the levity of it is a huge stand out. And I love how she still was able to have her vocal shine on a dance pop production, I was definitely a little bit nervous about that, but I’m so happy that I trusted her vision. You’re just scratching the surface of this amazing artist and I really hope you’re enjoying the ride! My favs on this project have to be frequency, kiss, ghost and say it. And I have a feeling that it will just continue to grow on me as I listen!

Here All Night, Sorry to Myself, and Ghost are my favorites. Her vocals sound soooo heavenly on Ghost and it’s such a beautiful song.

while I do enjoy Demi more in the Rock/Punk genre I do not ignore the fact that Unbroken, Demi, Confident and now It's Not That Deep have given us some of Demi's best pop/dance anthems. some of my favorites from this album are Let You Go, Ghost, Kiss, Here All Night and Sorry to Myself. And yes, Demi worked with this producer for the first time after Kesha suggested him to Demi while working on her own album "." (PERIOD). Demi even thanked her in an interview <3
