So, I just finished watching your reaction and I have to say... I bawled like a baby several times last night while watching this on NBC. And I wasn't expecting to cry at all today, but every time you cried, I cried. So THANKS for that, Juke!!!!!!!! Lmao. But real talk... I think Wicked came at a time when the world truly NEEDED it. And, as you said in your reaction, you can just tell that the love that Cynthia and Ariana have for each other is so genuine. You can see it in their eyes when they look at each other and it's just so pure and so beautiful and everyone should have a friend that looks at them the same way. And even beyond Cynthia and Ariana, you can just tell that everyone who had a hand in creating this film loves and adores Wicked so much and they handled it with so much care because of how special it is to them. And I think that allowed them to really become one as a family. As someone who grew up in the theatre, there's often a sense of family by the time you wrap a show. It takes so much blood, sweat, and tears to successfully execute a show before the curtain opens, that when you wrap there's a sense of pride and comradery. That's not to say that you always get along with, or even "like", everyone you work with... but there is an overwhelming sense of community when you're a theatre kid. Theatre is a place where all of the misfits and rejects can be their authentic selves and be accepted for their own unique talents and abilities. And I truly feel like that's the type of environment Jon "Movie" Chu does his best to create when making movies. Anyway... I digress. But the entire Wicked movie era is one that I will always look back on with so much love and warmth. It's truly a gift that Jon, Cynthia, Ariana, and the rest of the cast and crew have given to the world. Just like The Wizard of Oz, its legacy will go on forever.

Exact same feelings, Danny... 10 outta 10 !!! What a performance. 'Get Happy' is such a wonderful (and beautifully sung) tribute at the end to Judy Garland (the original Dorothy in 'The Wizard of Oz'). Perfection. And it was so nice to see you being uplifted in real time. Thanks :)

this was one of the best shows i’ve ever seen!! everything everyone, visuals , dancers , vocals , stage ,production. ari and cynthia truly blew me away in words i can’t even describe. it made me so so emotional. this will definitely become a tradition to watch if not watching it everyday (jk) but seriously there is nothing these two incredible women can’t do 🩷🫧💚🧹 happy wicked era everyone it’s coming to an end but it has been such a beautiful journey definitely healing for the soul !
