This performance is so incredible! She sang this song at Aretha's funeral too and some men behind her stared at her wierdly, and a priest, while he was doing a speech with her, touched her boob instead of waist, she looked really inconfortable.

I may be wrong but I think I heard her say that Jimmy kind of sprang the idea of her singing this song on her last minute. I think she said they only ran through the song once right before doing it. I could be totally wrong though.

just so you know aretha and ariana were actually very close, and i find it cool how she got « adopted » by so many legends (including patty labelle) also was wondering tho since you didn’t do this much of a deep dive for the albums prior to dangerous woman, are you considering coming back to it at some point ? i find it so endearing to see bts stuff and interview of fetus ariana 😂😂

i always love ariana’s tributes this was put together last minute and she did amazingg! u can tell that she really admires these incredible women i think this was a perfect way to honor aretha !

thinking of how they treated ariana at aretha franklins funeral makes me sick in a place where people are meant to remember honor and pay respect to her life these men only had one thing in mind which was disgusting and disgraceful ( looking up ariana’s dress sexualizing her and touching her inappropriately and then she gets bashed for what she wore. )That’s why i enjoy this performance instead she was comfortable and respected that should never happened to anyone let alone at a funeral ! (just to inform u because u were talking about it )
