I clicked on this so fast, I’ve been SO excited for you to watch this 😂

Sara Duarte🇧🇷

Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) appear in the same scene because they are both references to Taylor's cats

Mariah Galle

Olivia benson and Meredith grey aka Taylor’s cats 😂

ray

When I first saw this music video when It came out, I was a teenager and my mind was absolutely blown. I was a huge Paramore fan since their first album too, so seeing Hayley Williams as I was leaving my emo phase was so cool lol.

Your reaction was priceless! It took me about 20 views before realizing Taylor was training alongside Kendrick and the other women that included Selena Gomez, Zendaya, Gigi Hadid, Karlie Kloss, Lily Aldridge, Martha Hunt, Cara Delevingne, Ellie Goulding, Hailee Steinfeld, Hayley Williams, Jessica Alba, Mariska Hargitay, Ellen Pompeo, Cindy Crawford, Lena Dunham, and Serayah. You asked about the producer…He worked with Brittany Spears, Mariah Carey, and on Backstreet Boys’ “Everybody” video. That video, Michael Jackson’s “Thriller,” and all of Taylor Swift’s videos are my favorites. Looking forward to the next TS experience! 🌸

Idle Hands mentioned!!! Excellent movie sir. Devon Sawa was one of my first crushes lol

Brieanne

The white outfit Taylor wears at the beginning of the video laying on the table is an homage to the one worn by Milla Jovovich’s character in the movie The 5th Element.

This song is about Katy Perry but they have since squashed their beef and they revealed their make up in the You Need to Calm Down music video (Lover era) 😊 Katy actually went to see Taylor at an eras tour show and recorded herself jamming to this song which was absolutely hilarious 😂

Ash

This will probably always be in my top 5 of Taylor’s videos. It’s soooo epic and iconic!! 🔥

ok so im sorry for this huge lore dump but the girl taylor fought in the boxing scene was karlie kloss, they were best friends at the time and everyone called them twins. they had a falling out and supposedly it was due to karlie being close friends with scooter braun.(shes also married to a kushner). i wont get too into this part but i feel like its good to know on a deep dive of this era that this is where the "gaylor" stuff started where invasive conspiracy theorists started to dissect taylors whole life claiming she was gay and in a secret relationship with karlie. (aka swiftie qanon lol) some people are STILL doing this. this is why in the 1989 TV prologue taylor says that she learned that even if she only hangs out with female friends people still sexualize her and her relationships. also in this time period people called this taylors "Girl squad" which she also calls out people in 1989 TV prologue for thinking her having friends is a "tyranical hot girl cult" lol and actually many of the so called "squad" members abandoned and left taylor when the whole kanye reputation drama happened. again sorry for all the lore but i do think it adds context and sets up reputation for you! p.s this is definitely one of my favs of music videos of taylors i feel like it just captures 2014-15 so well ! love your content danny!

You just watched the video of the year for the VMAs that year! First, you should know Taylor and Katy Perry are in a great place now - Katy came to the Eras tour in Australia and danced next to Travis and there’s even a video of her jamming out to Bad Blood. 😂 So the lore is Taylor wrote this because she felt Katy had stolen some of her dancers during the Red tour causing Taylor to have to rearrange choreography and things like that . I never understood this explanation fully UNTIL this past December watching Taylor’s docuseries because it showed how much Taylor considers her tour crew as her family and is extremely loyal to them. Knowing how much these people mean to Taylor I now get her being upset more.

I knew you'd lose your mind over this video. 1989 and Reputation both have some really epic music videos

Bison Matt

Danny, I would love a Michael Jackson deep dive! I know it's not current, but I believe it would be very popular. 'Earth Song' is one of my favorite songs (& videos) of all time! Michael was so creative and his ability to emote bled from his being. I'm happy to hear that you are a fan as well!

Liam Mcfarlane

Now listen, I love Miss Taylor, I'd die for Miss Taylor, I've been a swiftie since 2007... but this video is a mess 😂 It starts out as a good concept but then the storyline just gets lost in trying to cram all of these cameos in and that last scene has some of the worst CGI/green screen I've ever seen - why are they walking towards each other from opposite directions but the skyline is the same behind them? Girl how much did you pay for this video to look like that 😭

Jason Modisett

“I’m not composed. I need to compose” is my new favorite saying of all time

Pam Delpapa

Hands down the BEST reaction to this video! Thank you🥰🥰🥰🥰

Larissa🌸🪩

This is the only appropriate reaction to this video and also the only appropriate reaction to how HOT Taylor looks with the red hair here😍😍😍 I remember freaking out so hard (basically the same as you😅) when this video dropped🔥🔥🔥🔥

Joanna Palacios

I will never skip a bad blood music video reaction. So iconic.

Gracie / Nerbal

I’m so glad Danny got to see some Taylena 💗

Amanda Thompson

Absolute cinema! The reaction and the video! One of the best of all time!!! SO SO GOOD 🔥🔥

hydesbride (Ashley)

Omg Danny this is the best reaction to the Bad Blood Music video ever! You recognized almost every cameo! That's freaking impressive! And I love how excited you were through all of it. How fun it must have been for Selena and Taylor to play friends turned enemies on such a grand scale. They have such a sweet and pure friendship IRL. hehe and of course Taylor's code name is CATastrophe 🤣🤣 And as many people have said, this is about Katy, but she and Taylor are cool now! Just wait til you see the video Katy has a cameo in from the Lover era! So excited! 💗 Just a couple more music videos for the 1989 era! Eep! The Style video really accentuates Taylor's amazing red lips 😘 we all look respectfully...hehehe you're the best, my friend!
