The pain in her voice is just heartbreaking.

I also have to say, during this time she was one of our “Viva Glam” Models for MAC Cosmetics with Cyndi Lauper!!! I got to see their picture every day going to work and sell their lipstick and it was incredible. And the first time I heard bad romance I was actually at the Mac counter about to start doing time cards, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha You’ll notice her makeup a little bit darker a little bit more dramatic at this point like her eye makeup compared to the previous album.

This performance turned me from a fan to a little monster. I had to play it over and over, I was so impressed and obsessed by it. Watching it back I wish they didn't use the autotune back then cause she doesn't need it and it makes her vocal runs sound odd sometimes, but she still sounds great.
