MET HIM LAST NIGHT A BOP🔥🔥🔥

Sarah Savala

The studio version of Anyone is so much more devastating because you can just somehow HEAR the void they're screaming into.

Kayla

rip the scrapped met him last night video we still think about you!

ernestooooooo

IM ALWAYS SO HYPE WHEN I SEE A DEMI VID!!! CANT wait til you get more into Demi’s pop girly era!! SHES THAT GIRL! Also thanks for everything!! Ur time, ur effort! And reaction!

GOD DAMN ICU ALWAYS MAKES ME CRY 😭 💕

Ash

ICU has so many layers to it. It’s a song to her sister who was there with her in the ICU when she woke up, but couldn’t SEE her at first, but now that she is better both physically and mentally she can really SEE her— literally and metaphorically. Such an incredible song ❤️

Bryson

• Anyone: Demi recorded it days before her overdose. She kept the vocals untouched, which is why it’s so raw. • Lonely People: An all-time favorite. It’s full of dark humor and cynicism, but ultimately a self-love anthem. It’s an honest depiction of how she felt at the time on their journey of acceptance, and I identify with it so much. 💕 • Met Him Last Night: Ariana wrote it for Demi. The “devilish man” they’re singing about is a metaphor for Demi’s addiction. A perfect pop song and another #1 that got away. • Your Intro: My favorite yet! Speaking of honesty, nothing wrong with giving the people what they want to spread the Juke gospel! 🤣

Chris

WHOA! you can't just reveal a trade-secret like that! at least not in the intro. Secret Garden Danny - not public park (but also... you don't keep a Ferrari in the garage)

Babylon

thirsty over daddy juke

Phoenix Betancourt 🖤☠️

In melon cake, the lyric “ no more barricades in doorways” refers to the fact that Demi’s old team used to lock her in hotel rooms and barricade the door so that she couldn’t have room serviced delivered

Ash

Ariana wrote “Met Him Last Night” with Demi in mind and with intentions of giving her the song if she wanted it. Demi loved it but only agreed to take it if Ariana would sing on it with her 😌 I’m not sure what their friendship is like nowadays but they became pretty close during this era

Naomi

Met him last night and Easy 😭🔥

Andrew

My least favorite album of hers, unfortunately. Especially coming after Tell Me You Love Me, which in my opinion is one of her best albums. I’m glad you gave this album a shot and you still appreciated what was good about it but definitely not her best overall, I really think you’ll enjoy TMYLM. Has a lot more R&B inspired tracks and the production is just a million times better

Naomi

The song 15 minutes is about how Max Ehrich called the paparazzi on himself pretending to cry about their breakup and praying on the beach. He definitely got his 15 minutes of fame 🤭

Laurasr618

this album is very hit or miss for me... i think it was very needed for demi to process alot of trauma over the OD and where she was in life... but for me it can feel very corny at times... but i understand she needed this era to get where she is today. I also think its very messy and all over the place sonically and not the sweet spot I personally like for her. I think you will like Tell Me You Love Me a lot better.

Jose

Butterfly is actually about Demi's father and her acceptance of his death. She is basically saying that in his life as an addict, he was a caterpillar but he has become a beautiful butterfly as an angel.

Jess

i get goosebumps whenever i listen to 'met him last night' its just soooo good omg

Pedro Brito

SO SO SO HAPPY ABOUT THIS REACTION!! Pleaseeee keep on reacting on Demi's!!!

Jake

Idk how people get through this album without crying, I was (and still am) balling my eyes out

Mohammad Zafar

Hahaha this is my least fav along with unbroken. Don't worry next albums are fireee

Rachel Aaron

I’m curious if your gonna watch simply complicated when you get to the tell me you love me era

Maya

So I’m not actually a fan of pop Demi. I didn’t like the new album either 😬 She has a handful of pop songs that I enjoy. But I love rock Demi. Holy fvck was her best album by farrrrr. I honestly think she’s wayyy more suited for another genre. Just my opinion 🤷🏽‍♀️

mia the freeman

Skyfall by Adele and No Time to Die by Billie Eilish, two great songs both made for the Daniel Craig Bond movies <3 I remember hearing Dancing with the Devil for the first time and thinking of those songs immediately, very cinematic

Djonatan

ICU is such a great song! Love how in the lyrics she played with the fact that when she first woke in ICU after the OD, she couldn’t see Madison’s face. “Cause I was blind but now I see clearly, I see you (ICU)”

Caitlyn Skiff

While I don't love everything on this album, there are songs I love. Anyone, Dancing with the Devil, Met Him Last Night, What Other People Say, and Easy are my personal favorites I go back to a lot. I am excited for you to react to Tell Me You Love Me, which not only is my favorite Demi album, but one of my top favorite albums ever.

Jesus

Thank you so much for keeping it real . I have similar feelings with this album too and a lot of us think Holy Fvck is Demi's magnum opus! Now that you already got this era over the way the other ones will be fun and more enjoyable!! A suggestion is try to watch the music videos alongside the album reaction for the next ones!

ernestooooooo

I honestly love your reactions in general! Demi is always my #1 but I love how your always honest with your opinions and are real with it! Not only that, but you keep respectful! To be honest, this is probably my least listened Demi album from her (I still know every single song haha) but it didn’t click as much as Demi’s other albums have! I can’t wait to go deeper in this dive with you!

Garrett

Juke, thank you for being so open and honest and raw! It’s one of the many reasons to love you! I love your reactions, this album is so therapeutic for me, it gets a lot of hate, but it has a lot of love to give!

Garrett

This album has great features (minus Saweetie), her management and production teams are constantly fumbling her career…especially this last album which I love but the rollout was clinky, clanky, clunky!

Sarah Savala

I can agree with you on the production and writing not living up to their full potential and playing it super safe! Unbroken, their third album, is an example of good production and writing but it just doesn't SOUND like them in terms of personality but it's still a good time. "Sunset" sounds like a b-side for the Tell Me You Love Me era. And you really loved that song so I got a really good feeling you'll love that era! I'll DM you with a doc for that era and work on the rest of the discography too, and even if someone else has stepped up it doesn't hurt to compare notes between different Lovatics <3 My favorite songs on this album are the title songs, Lonely People, What Other People Say, Met Him Last Night, Carefully, Easy, Mad World, and Sunset.

Heikki

Noah Cyrus is so underrated! Her album ”The Hardest Part” is one of my favorites 🥰

Connor Winship

Butterfly start hits me, specifically the month of June part. When I was 15 I was staying the night at my dad's (3rd June 2012) and by time I woke he had passed away, in the UK Father's dad is in June and it was also 9 days before his 40th Birthday. Its gotten easier so it's not as much of a dread. But Its actually scaring me this year because it'll be the last year that my dad was in my life for more than half of it.

Chris Mastro

I think you’ll like “Tell Me You Love Me” album by Demi a lot. It’s a vibe. 😎

Rasina Abdulkadir

I know he doesn't take Demi requests (bc of the deep dive rules), but does anyone know if he'll watch her Child Star documentary? Or is that too broad of a documentary?👀

Ashleigh Stanley

The line in Melon Cake "people out here getting fired for chocolate in the backsseat" was her manegment team didn't want her gaining weight so they were really strict with what she was allowed to eat and someone was fired by her managment for giving Demi chocolate and down below someone mentioned this but they would have someone outside her hotel room door and disconnet the phone so she couldn't order room service. They were evil and I hope they all have gotten their karma....
