This album was a 10/10. It feels so fresh and new and like you said, more of what we need in the industry. At the end of heaven yes her twins are singing which adds to the beautifulness of the song. Been a minute (I listen to it almost every day) Sunrise is such a vibe. I loved Me minus you. Just all around everything was so good!

Burning Up is way too short for my liking. Leigh, we need an extended cut!!! 😭 This is a very solid debut. There were 2 or 3 songs where I felt the instrumentation didn’t mesh well with her vocals, but everything else was great. So much respect for her doing this independently. ❤️

It’s genuinely a wonderful piece of art and it’s true to Leigh-Anne - we truly do need to stream and buy this album to support our independent girlie! 🤍 Dead and Gone - It’s actually Leigh’s grandma on the bridge! words cannot even begin to describe how proud of Leigh I am and how much joy + happiness I feel for her now that this moment is here. I loved this album from start to finish and I hope we get to hear the four bonus tracks (Ego Suicide, Dead and Gone, Part II, Home and Been a Minute acoustic) from the two variants as soon as possible! I pre-ordered the signed physical copy of the standard CD the day the album was announced back in October, then I pre-ordered the My Ego Told Me To+ variant at the start of February when she put it on her store and then I also bought the digital deluxe My Ego Told Me To++ yesterday when she put it on her site. C'mon Mixers we have to unite and support her extra strong since she's an independent artist and let's make history by her having a #3 album just like Perrie and Jade which would make them the first girl group in history to have all the solo members have a top three album!!
