Yall have told me to give Alex Warren a fair chance, and so I am. This music video was fun and the song might just make a fan out of me. Too early to tell though! <3

a bit more background into alex! when alex was nine he unfortunately lost his father due to cancer where after this his mum heavily struggled with alcohol and kicked him out of the house when he was only 17. he said he tried to hide the alcohol whenever he saw it , she was abusive towards him too. she then died due to renal failure. his wife kouvr stayed with him in his car no matter what and helped him without any doubt. that’s what the orphan sign meant… he is truly an inspiration that you can be anyone if you try hard enough!

He just called himself "Temu Ed Sheeran" on his latest IG post promoting this song. 😂 I don't think it's a coincidence that his sense of humor is so great, given his heartbreaking backstory. He is the epitome of perseverance, and I only wish the best for him and his wife, Kouvr. ❤️ (His wife was the actress being killed on the floor in the music video, btw haha)

I really like Alex Warren! I think before I knew his backstory, I wasn’t really that invested in his music. But knowing even just a fraction of what he’s gone through has made his music resonate so much more. At least, for me! My favorite song of his is probably “The Outside”. I think it really captures his story specifically, but is also super relatable to anyone just trying to find their way in life.

This video is so chaotic and I am here for it.. I know it had to be so much fun to make😂 Alex released save you a seat days after my grandma passed away. That song was the only thing that made me feel something after being numb. Music resonates with some people and some people it doesn’t. I appreciate you giving him a chance. He’s one of the few artists that felt human meeting him. Genuinely a good person.

I think my favourite song by Alex Warren is Yard Sale, its the second last one on the album, it the discription for it is "The lyrics themselves of yardsale are poignant and relatable, expressing the universal experience of parting ways and moving on from a past relationship. The imagery of a yard sale, with items and memories from the relationship being sold or discarded, is a powerful metaphor for letting go." I personally havent been in any relationships. But I think about my so called nonna when I hear it since she has treated my Mum wrong along with her oldest son and youngest son. Some other good songs I love are The Outside, First Time on Earth, Never Be Far, Everything, Getaway Car (ive seen some people comment its better then Taylors song called Getaway Car on Repuation), You Cant Stop This, Troubled Waters, and Chasing Shadows. Looking forward to the next thing you upload eventually by Alex

I first heard of Alex on Booktok, where we all latched on to his song Ordinary. It's been so fun to see his career explode like this!

Ordinary was the first song I heard by him. There are a handful of songs he’s done that has had my husband and I boo hooing because they made us think of my mother in law who we lost almost 2 years ago now. Please when you get a chance listen to Eternity, Save you a Seat are ones that will hit you in your feels. Carry you Home is another one I find stuck in my head when I listen to it

I am so excited for you to check out more of Alex! If im being completely honest i felt the exact same about his voice and it just felt very generic to me. Then I saw a really funny comedy compilation of him at his shows and I was like hold up this is the Ordinary guy so I immediately searched him on yt and watched the first interview i saw and he immediately had my whole heart. I def see how ppl could think of him as an industry plant since there are so many male artists coming up rn… but the way I view it he has worked incredibly hard to get at the place hes at and has defied all odds and that is exactly what he writes about!! Not to even mention the fact that this guy probably has some of the best humour i have ever heard. With that being said I def appreciate your honesty and even if you do check out his debut and its not you cup of tea I think you will still really enjoy getting to know him as a person 💙💙
