Highly recommend Absolutley - Parocosm album. It's RAYE's sister and it was released in February this year. It's different to RAYE but it's literally like floating euphoric music. It's incredible!!!

If this doesn’t win every award, I honestly don’t know…! 🔥 It’s so full of heart and her authenticity is so infectious

Whenever you were reacting to The WhatsApp Shakespeare and reflecting on the lyric "Though I'd love to clarify no one did die in this story, but I did inside" it made me think about the fact that dying is not the worst thing that can happen to someone. I think there are a lot of different ways that this has been shown. I mean some people take there own lives because they would rather die than be on Earth. I think its also a reason why some criminals don't get the death penalty, in my opinion spending the rest of your life in prison is 100% worse than dying. Once someone feels like they have completely lost faith in humanity and can't look at life the same, it becomes worse to live.

It's genuinly an issue that this album is so good because now I dont know if I want The Life of a Showgirl, Kiss all the time. Disco ocassionally, or This Music May Contain Hope to win aoty... 😭😭😭

This album deserves all of the AWARDS! Every song is refreshing and just puts a huge smile on my face. The amount of times I’ve said, “she is unreal” is diabolical. The instrumentation, her voice, the lyrics, the meanings just put me in the space of just being in awe the whole time. I felt so many things and my brain is jumbled up but this album is definitely AOTY. And Raye just keeps getting better and she can’t keep doing this to me 😭. I don’t know how she does it, her voice can move mountains and this album is incredible. I already know it’s going to be one of the top albums of this year.

I’ve only listened through once so far, and then watched your reaction… I’m genuinely so blown away and in awe of what Raye has achieved here. I don’t quite have the words right now, but I will be back 🥹 The first half of the album speaks so deeply to me in ways I wish it didn’t. The second half I feel I’ll have to listen to a few more times. Thank you for the reaction, and for always being so raw with your emotions. Hard being vulnerable, but if Raye can do it and turn it into something so epic and beautiful, so can we! ✨💕

“An artist’s duty, as far as I’m concerned, is to reflect the times.” A quote from Nina Simone. Raye’s favorite artist of all time. Raye tries to write her music in line with this quote and I think she’s more than succeeded with this album. The honesty in her songs, in particular, is so profound, touching and stands out. This album is so incredible. It’s so well-produced, the track order is perfectly chosen, the lyrics are phenomenal, the diversity of genres really blows me away, the entire concept is wonderfully executed, and you can feel what she wanted to convey to us. The way she tackles both new and old themes and arranges them so beautifully musically. It’s a journey through the seasons, a journey through diverse genres perfectly chosen to underscore the song’s message, a journey through such profound emotions and what impresses me most is that raye manages to move from darkness into light and leaves us with a musical hug. I love the varying tempos of the individual songs and how sometimes you feel like she’s singing all alone just for you and other times as if you were right there in the studio at a jam session. You experience the music up close and feel so close to raye. You can feel her passion. Starting with the dark and heavy themes that really make you angry and sad, but which resonated with me musically right from the start. The lyrics are very painful but reflect her reality and the times we live in. “I know you’re hurtling” is then placed so perfectly and feels like medicine. This song is heartbreakingly sad but also like a hug made of words that wraps around you. For “Life Boat” she asked loved ones to send her voice messages with the words “I’m not giving up yet.” Hearing original voices throughout the album creates a very authentic atmosphere and makes it easy to connect with Raye as a person and build a bond with her circle. Then the album gets so groovy that you can hardly sit still. With “Fields” just like you, tears simply streamed down my face. It conveyed such nostalgic pain and was so beautiful musically. That really surprised and moved me. With “Joy” blue skies clear up, and you can physically feel it. I could write at length about every song, but I really have to keep this brief. Your reaction really highlighted the album’s journey, and as you’ve already noticed yourself, the emotions move consistently in one direction throughout the album. I was deeply moved myself and found myself alternately crying, dancing, and laughing. I’m so glad this album is finally out and has the world at its feet. Once again, you were so honest and shared so much. Thank you for that! You also asked us for our thoughts on this miserable society and what we can do better. To be honest, I don’t know. I swing between hopelessness and hope by the hour, but I always come back to this point. It starts with yourself. Loving yourself, accepting yourself and coming to terms with who you are. Being kind and gentle with yourself. And then you can carry that outward and, in small moments, share joy, share love and meet people with honesty. Connecting with people, just like we do here. Making international connections and sharing joy. Creating something to guide you and show you what to keep striving for. Creating something you can always hold onto. Music creates this sense of connection. I think you can make a big difference with small gestures and should treat yourself and others with care. We need to be together, to feel a sense of community so that we don’t get the feeling that the bad people are the majority. It’s gonna be alright!! I can’t and don’t want to choose a favorite song just yet. Each one triggers too many emotions in me to pick a favorite.

Life boat and fields both made me cry

Fields ft grandad Michael is truly one of the most touching songs I’ve heard in a very long long time 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 how lucky are we to get to experience an artist like raye in our life time

BEST album I’ve heard in a long time

Gitte

Really hoping this wins AOTY, not only is it phenomenal sonically but also amazing lyrics! 🤍 My favourite track on the album is Click Clack Symphony, and from the non-singles I really love Beware… The South London Lover Boy and Joy!

Juke, I love your sentimental reactions. It took three different sittings for me to watch this one. (I know your hurting) I appreciate your vulnerability and openness with your community. This album was cathartic for many different reasons, it truly allowed me to sit with certain emotions and feelings that i thought were “handled”. It also helped heal a straining friendship. Sending peace, love and harmony back to you and your fam.♥️
