Mandolin is what you're loving the sound of🥰

I was fortunate enough to snag tickets to see him live in July and I cannot wait. He’s become one of my favorite artists. Great reaction, as always!

I loved both performances a lot. I love the moving background and yes he does sound better live, but we all knew that. These songs and the album in general helps you re-access how we handle things or feel things. I am so jealous of his braids. But also you are correct. Always do the best you can to maintain friendships, but also know when you need to let go. Sometimes it's hard to know when to let go, but yes always try until you can't anymore.

His crazy eyes are back!! 👀

I read the first lines as a critique of overly idealistic parenting: Noah’s dad was so focused on preventing symbolic violence—like pretending sticks were guns—that he failed to teach Noah the emotional skills that actually keep people from hurting others. It’s the sarcastic “god forbid” that helped me to draw this conclusion as well as the doc and seeing their family dynamics.

I hadn’t really got a chance to listen to this amazing artist before you started your deep dive. Thank you for this! I’m a new Noah fan for sure!

Finally on my catch up after my social break Danny, wouldn't be right if I didn't kick it off with our Noah! I'll give my thoughts after, I've so missed being on here Danny!

Great Divide - Beautiful performance again, the set was based on his home in New England, which really makes his performances so much more special, he's chosen something that resembles the home he grew up in, also somewhere his music is inspired by the people, the experiences and the emotions he has attached to the place. Those runs where beautiful, love how they were just authentic because he was into the song and not planned, his eyes saying 'hope this works' haha. I lost touch with a very close friend I grew up with, I went through an awful experience, she was going through some tough things too, when you're young, not knowing how to deal with certain things we both kind of just cut off from eachother. We reconnected a few years ago when we had kids a couple months apart and our friendship is now closer than it ever was, we were old enough to talk about the deep stuff and open up and it connected us so much more. You just never know what someone is going through, that's why you should always be kind, and I completely agree with you saying communication is key. Doors - I almost feel like he's expressing he self sabotages...he's talked so much about his mental health and how he felt guilty, felt as though he was the reason for his parents separating. Perhaps he feels that anyone who see's the deeper parts of him that maybe aren't all sunshine and rainbows, they'll turn and run the other way. I feel like he's saying he hurts them before they can hurt him, maybe he feels that vulnerable centre he has might make people turn away from him. Not everyone understands those feelings or are empathetic to them. You need someone who really is able to help you when you feel so much all the time. He has so much soul in his eyes, his performances are just always incredible. So glad you've found Noah! Glad to be back haha!
