Always appreciate how raw, open and honest your reactions are! I think with a lot of reactors it's always very surface level and I appreciate that you're not that! I'm excited to see your reaction to the Popcast interview. I think that one was by far the most detail she's went into about the album even if it was clear she was a bit uncomfortable with a few of the questions.

Love your honestly and openness! Fwiw I don't take "whats wrong with me" to be a song about a breakup-- rather, similar to Begged, about feeling a deep pain, regret, and uneasiness WITHIN a relationship. Hence the lines, "Say I'm in love, so it's hard to admit", "Head just keeps on pounding with the simple thought, what if this isn't what I want" and even the titular line "I think your what's wrong with me". She has talked about how her goal with this album was to make "sad love songs". Songs about all the melancholy, fears, and under-represented emotions that one feels in a relationship. That said, what's great about art is it is subjective and we can take whatever it means to us and apply it in our own loves, projecting our own struggles onto it. And Olivia has said as much that that's her intention in her music.

The joy on Olivia's face at the end of that duet was so wholesome. Love their friendship. 6music interviewed Robert shortly after getting off the stage with Olivia. Smiling so hard it turns into laughter is peak unfettered joy. there is a clip on YouTube of one of her unreleased originals that she used to post to Instagram before she got a record contract. I believe she is 16 in the video and she is wearing a The Cure t-shirt.
