Hola familia!👋🏽

I have fall break this upcoming week! I am so excited to much needed rest and much needed recording done. Yay! Let's just jump right into the features this Sunday.

BAND-MAID Sunday:

🌟Brightest Star🌟

I have looked at the album's song list and noticed I have reacted to some of the songs already, but there are a few I still haven't got to. I liked the title so I wanted to check it out!

PATREON Extras

AILIFDOPA - Machu Pichu (Thanks P in D)

Sometimes I select my reactions based on the thumbnails or title of the song. This is similar to how I pick wines to try out when I am at the store! This one's thumbnail stuck out to me and I don't know why. The little blerb I got with it as well made me interested. The possiblity of a wild music video and "borrowing" (their msuical style?) from Maximum the Hormone? I'm down!

ZUTOMAYO - Darken (Thanks Juan_San66)

I was told there was an ELECTRIC FAN HARP in this. I don't know what that is and my imagination is running wild on what it could be. I have to check it out. Also, it's up for a limited time on YouTube, so I think I have to take my chances to see it soon!

BAND-MAID - Awkward (Thanks Glenner7)

I have been told about this song a few times, but I haven't gotten around to it. I am glad I waited though because Glenner7 was kind enough to give me the idea to do a 3-way look at each version available to me! We are going to listen to the album version, jump into the fall 2017 tour performance, and then hear the Maiko version. I'm excited!

FREE EXTRA:

MAXIMUM THE HORMONE - Shimi ft. Atarashii Gakko

This one was posted to YouTube, but unfortunately I had to lower the opacity of the video to prevent it from getting blocked. I did upload this to Patreon on Friday if you'd absolutely like to watch the version where it is not a "see through" video. I hope you are all having a lovely week and I'll see you Sunday!

Con Amor,

💜NittPicc💜

Looking forward to this weekend's reactions by the Princess. Zutomayo is going to be wild! And the Band-Maid plus their imposters Band-Maiko.... Can't wait!

Oh, nice pick. Miku song, Po?!?! 🕊️ Also, wear a neck brace for the arrangement. 😂 Kanami had fun...

Edward Allen

There's also the acoustic version of Awkward in the Christmas concert. It was the first time I heard the song and I fell in love with it instantly and it just got better with every version

Also, yes, many reactors have gotten strikes on the MtH/GS video. Be careful.

Oh no! Ailiph Doepa! (I have seen the band name spelled a number of ways maybe due to translation) ... and you thought 88 Temple Pilgrimage was going to give you "Brain Damage" ... Machu Picchu is the pure definition of "all over the place" ;) . You may need some wine to go with this :p .

I am extremely looking forward to the Zutomayo reaction. I come from mainly listening to metal (for guitar based music) for over 20 years before discovering the Japanese rock/metal scene and while I have gotten used to some of the poppy stuff those bands tend to put in their music, a lot of J-Pop, Idol music and a lot of the very poppy J-Rock and metal bands are really not my thing. That said, I like Zutomayo a lot (and to some extent Yuroshika as well) and I absolutely love Zutomayo's live performances. They are with Gacharic Spin probably my favourite artists to watch live. I think you are going to like them a lot.

Charles Coleman

Looks like a great lineup Po!~ Glad you are getting a well deserved break!
