I am going to keep this short since I am legit finishing this at 4AM in the morning.

I wasn't expecting this from A7X.

This sounded like Dany Elfman and Brahms had a baby.

To me, this is a work of art.

I need more Avenged Sevenfold in my life!

Ok, clear the kiddies out of the room :p … I think you were pushed to the edge of Halloweenie-ness. Don’t worry, I’m an old romantic too. Musically creative and beautiful. Boo! ... and bow-wow :p . Avenged Sevenfold seems to be a divisive band with more than a couple of haters. I have always loved them … they are one of the very few American bands I follow. I simply love M Shadows voice. I think it’s perfect for rock. Others claim it’s annoying and “nasal-y” The dislike seems to stem from the band being too mainstream … a sellout, or a Metallica copy. Personally I really like the musicianship. To me they are their own thing. Songs like Critical Acclaim and Nightmare I think illustrate that the band are none of those things. After the Rev passed and Mike Portnoy sat in on drums I thought that really illustrated how the band could gather it up during a terrible time and still keep it together and play some great music. If you are new to A7X this song does not really exemplify what they do :p . It’s a fun spooky season song with an interesting video. Listen to some of their other music before you judge 😊 . Every member is great in their own right.

While the subject of a lot of debate I *THINK* the female vocal is done by Juliette Commagere. Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan also gets lots of vocal credit for this song (RIP). Even if you dislike A7X NittPicc's reaction to this song is worth your entire months Patreon membership fee ;) . Happy Halloween!
