This song has such a beautiful sound to it.

The fact that there was NO GUITAR in it whatsoever did blow my mind though. I didn't realize it was gone until after the song was over. The keys/synth do so much that you don't miss the sound of a guitar.

The vocalist could sing me into a comfortable rest. This kind of band and this kind of music is why I am slowly falling in love with progressive rock.

Exploring Birdsong are wonderful, I really enjoyed their EP they put out last year. Hopefully we'll get a full album some day. I don't believe electric guitar is ever used. For an even more acoustic style prog, check out the chamber prog band iamthemorning. Very acoustically minded band. They have a song "5/4" I think you'd enjoy.

Glad you enjoyed this one! They're a really cool and unique band. The band's lineup is: Lynsey Ward - Vocals and Keys Matt Harrison - Drums Jonny Knight - Bass and Synths There's a good interview with them by Metal Hammer where they talk about many things, including where they got the name: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VQ_fhIJ78sM They have a few other music videos that show their setup a bit more, I'll post them on Discord!
