I have to keep this short because now...I only have 1 hour before I have to be up to leave to San Antonio.

When I saw the suggestion for track 8 by Glenner7, I couldn't resist. I haven't heard "Why Why Why" yet and the instrumental was screaming my name! Of course I had to listen to a version with lyrics first, but when they told me that it was on the 2024 Day of Maid concert, I was sold!

Princess NittPicc, now that marching band season is over with, I have a request for you to do something for the Maidaics and for the band nerds among us. What five Band-Maid songs would you like to see translated to and scored for marching band music? Any Patreons out there should feel free to make their suggestions.

Pigeon scream and chirping, love the Small Pigeon!

Glenner7

Very cool, NittPicc. To answer your question, you have three songs left on Unseen World that are on the regular CD and in the score book: Chemical Reaction, I Still Seek Revenge, and Honkai. There is another song that was on the special limited edition version of the album, it's called Youth. When you go over the sheet music like this, I'm amazed at the amount of work that they put in for a basically deep cut song like Why, Why, Why. It must take them so many many hours to write, arrange, practice, and record their amazing albums. Thank you for reminding us of just how hard-working Band-Maid is! BTW. I made a list for you of the songs you haven't yet covered: https://discord.com/channels/792631695723200554/1217253171001561159/1297785320988872747

Imagine the freedom for Kanami to have a bass player like Misa that she can pick out where she slaps, then goes to the pick and back seamlessly! Scrumdillyumpcious indeed!

NittPicc, if you like Kanami's Wah-Wah pedal work, you should react to "Take Me Higher" from the "Just Bring It" CD. It's a killer hard rock song with very nice use of the Wah. And may I suggest reacting to the CD version and a live version as well. One of your patrons, the Great Vladimir Chupin, has some nice video with really good audio of this from various European tours. I highly recommend his videos. They are legendary and Vladimir is just a sweetheart of a guy. The BM Community loves him!

👋 hi NittPic. If you love doing this, you might interest in Sound, Vocal & Music Separator like Alan from Dicodec using all the time.

FYI, as far as I can tell, there are only three songs on the Day of Maid 2024 Okyuji that you haven't heard yet: Balance (from Unleash!!!!!), I Still Seek Revenge (from Unseen World), and Go easy (from Epic Narratives).

War Cries Miku!!. She´s the best. The songs on Unseen World have some very elaborate bridges, you could develop excellent songs from them, a parallel LP (Unexpected World?). In particular the bridge of this song is surprising, all the instruments lower their pulsations to that ethereal melody in the style of an 80s ballad... except the drums!. Akane is spectacular throughout the album and in this song... more. I agree with you that she has developed a very particular style of her own that I think will set a trend.

MISA MISA MISA on lead bass ;) . Why, why, why? Because it's BAND MAID! It's BASS DAY (11/11) in Japan right now! Happy bass day MISA! "Mom, Miss NittPicc made us listen to BAND MAID on the bus. I did not want to tell her ... but I liked it ;) ".

Sawzar

Charles Coleman
