The band members names are completely bizarre, but epic.

To me, this band looks like they could fit into the "emo" catagory, but their sound is hardcore punk rock style. I am a sucker for this kind of music. It reminds me of when I was a kid trying to figure out who I was.

This band is just a good time, really. Want to just rock out to a really fun song that you can thrash out to? This is it!

Well ... other than VH this is probably the most "mainstream" thing I will recommend ;) . These guys are pros, polished in every respect. They visited Detroit in 2024 as part of their "Playdead" tour. They're great performers ... but of course you do not play Budokan or get invited to Ozzfest meets Knotfest if you don't know what you're doing ;) . in Japan, MOST people won't sing unless they know how. Autotune is used very differently there ... as an effect (if you'd listen to PASSCODE - Taking you out, you'd understand more fully ;) ). Those girls, just like MAH, do not need autotune ... when used in Japan it is usually overtly obvious ... like any voice filter. It is strictly used for effect. If you want to learn about disappointing use of autotune find the channel "Wings of Pegasus" where Fil outs some pretty big stars using it to deceive as you describe. Other songs? What wouldn't I recommend? If you want to see their ska side you could go with Devil in Your Heart. If you want rebellious pure punk you can listen to a recent release (7 months old) called BBT ... and no, NOT all of their songs contain screaming. As an all-around statement this band covers more music styles and makes them sound like its all they do, than any other band I know.

SIM shares record label with Band Maid, Pony Canyon. In fact, Shambles is the ending of the anime Kengan Ashura while RED is the opening. I wouldn't be surprised to find a collaboration in the future. BTW: SIM has done a couple of very curious covers: Something In The Way by Nirvana and, nothing more and nothing less, Come Together by The Beatles.
