Hola familia!

I hope if you are in an area where allergens are not killing you! I am having to take my allergy pills everday and take puffs of my emergency inhaler more often these days, but my garden is coming in and I am so excited for my flowers to bloom!

Concert vlogs are coming! I am trying to get those up and edited for YouTube and Patreon!

Here's our line up for Sunday:

BAND-MAID Sunday:

Sorry...but we are still taking that small hiatus from the New Beginning's album because I HAVE TO check out "Ready to Rock." I hope this is okay!

Patreon Extras:

EXTREME - "Play With Me"

I did an reaction to their song "He-Man Woman Hater" a few weeks ago and I was really surprised. Since my world view of them was tiny (cough More Than Words *cough) I thought it would be fun to dive in again with this one. It was also next on my suggestion list. 😅

SoHyang - "Everybody"

It's hard to skip/avoid anything that has SoHyang's name on it. I knew I had to check it out since it was next in the list. I have been asked to react to her version of Whitney's "I Have Nothing." If you've seen my reaction to the last SoHyang on my Patreon account, there's a reason I am waiting. With my sinuses can take the crying. Ha!

BAND-MAID - "Before Yesterday"

The journey continues through the Brand New Maid band score! I can see that we are close to the end of the line here and it makes me sad that even with taking a few days off, we are already at the end basically. It's okay though. That just means maybe we can check out some BM Prime stuff?

Anime Reactions:

I might be changing up how I release episodes. Maybe an episode a day? I am not sure yet!

Bocchi the Rock! has ended and now we wait for season 2!

Sound! Euphonium is up to episode 5 and man can I really relate to this show. I am loving every moment of it! It's a great show that is true to how band actually works.

Here are animes that have been suggested to me to fill the Bocchi voice for now:

K-On!

Girls Band Cry

Rock is a Lady's Modesty

Frieren: Beyond Journeys End

Kids on the slope

Carol and Tuesday

BECK

Zombie Land Saga!

Apothecary Diaries

I'm fairly sure I missed some, but this was in my Patreon comments! What I'd like to do is react to the music from the show to get an idea of what I may be getting into. I am open to suggestions here, since I don't know exactly what I am looking for.

Anyway, sorry this is an hour later than usual. I took my Friday to relax and unwind instead of recording and making this post (which I should've done), but here we are! I've got WORK to do!

🪻I hope your spring has sprung🌷 - allergy free of course!🤧

Con Amor,

💜NittPicc💜

Sohyang's masterpiece EVERYONE is gonna do more damage to your sinuses than I Have Nothing will 😆 . Probably too late but if you do the Everyone version on Vimeo, it has English caption for the parts sung in Korean whereas YT doesn't. And I promise her fans will still flock to it if you put it on YT also if you gotta lower the opacity. Extreme- oddly enough I'm gonna see them opening for Def Leppard later this summer

Don't worry, having you react to "ready to rock" is really a good excuse ^^ (can I bet that you will say at least one ma'am lol). For the anime recomandation, do you want a little bit of infos to help you choose ? Because I know for sure that two of them aren't music related lol. But for another one that have music in it, even if it don't talk about music itself, I would suggest Symphogear, it's a magical girl, but think more of a "fighting monster" kind of it, and they fight with the power of songs. But on this list, K-On and Girl Band Cry would be my choice, K-On for the funny and the great songs, GBC for the drama and the great music too, since the VA for all the main character, are the member of a real rock band and this is there songs that your hear in the show.

I only have one thing to say … Beeth-oven :p . If you know, you know ;) .

My allergies got better with years, but its still there. Sudden sneezing while driving can be dangerous. I love Frieren and music it has, but its long 28 episodes and its not about music band. But you like D&D and its fantasy story. So would you like to do a spin off reaction series about story and not so much about music? Otherwise K-ON!!! Is good choice.

Hello, I'm doctor Freud, but you can call me Ziggy.

All anime of the list are great (never see BECK altough) but if you want a hint of the music I recommend to watch (or listen only) the trailers of the shows. Here is a video of Frieren soundtrack main theme called "Journey of a lifetime" to you to take a little sneak a peak. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sSmK6-O-0gk

Great lineup of course! As always! Before Yesterday is a great song and video. The video is footage from their first visit to the US - (Sakura-con?) in Seattle 2016. I am VERY much looking forward to watching you react to BM Prime stuff. Especially the Christmas Acoustic videos and the accompanying commentary videos, which are really funny and enlightening. If you want a good look at them as friends and how they interact with each other, those commentary videos are perfect! It only makes you love them all the more~!

Per your request for music to react to get an idea about the show, I'm going to suggest something by the main group from within Girls Band Cry, TOGENASHI TOGEARI. However it's the single release version of a track not contained in the series and I'm selecting an official version of the audio where even the visual artwork gives away as little as possible (there's an album artwork version of the same audio which hints at more). My reasoning, behind what seems perhaps an overly zealous approach, is that all of their MVs can risk spoiling plot elements within the show to an extent, even songs released after the first season wrapped. Plus 'Ideal Paradox' is a great track in my opinion and still gives you a good idea of what to expect from the show musically: https://youtu.be/vm6KfrRdQTs?si=7CDJuJUE_y8nrGkx

Hi NittPicc, you've been an enjoyable addition to the B-M community, thank you for everything 🙏 I just wanted to suggest a return to MISSIONED SOULS family band with a recent cover of My Heart is Broken by EVANESCENCE, Mom and Dad join in with mom handling lead vocals, eldest daughter Naces also switching from bass to keyboard. Be amazed all over again. https://youtu.be/pKKifz8_3VQ?si=D7Jbi2ZaFUtooYPX Sidenote: In recent interviews family revealed kids are home schooled, afternoon and early evening lessons then music practice after each lesson. Kids expressed musical interest after watching mom and dad preform and practice with their band. So no grand plan for band, Dad taught them basics (what he knew) but kids basically learning on their own at this point. And they will cover Band-Maid again, song not chosen yet. 🤟
