It's official. I am Nina.

I appreciate Subaru's personality. I was a theater kid at one point, but I don't have that forward personality like the true theater peeps.

The music has me in a chokehold. It's so good. The lyrics. The sound. The animation to go with it! It's extremely enjoyable. I cannot wait until the whole band finally forms!

The song at the end is called 'Nameless Fish' and as you probably gathered they used the excuse of having the looper pedal (specifically a TC Electronics Ditto X4) to have the full instrumentation of the band mix version of the song playing, including some extra guitar, bass & keys, rather than just the trio elements. It might be Nina overdubs for the bits of backing vocals as well rather than Momoka, but their VAs Rina & Yuri also have quite complimentary voices, so I can't 100% be sure. Basically agehasprings are the production company that write all the music for the groups & incidental backgrounds in Girls Band Cry, they're were known earlier on in their career for doing a lot of work writing with singer-songwriter Aimer. On the studio recordings it's currently just the vocals that are recorded by the 'band' per say, but they started performing live as the group even before the first season came out. Now you've seen this episode we can treat you to the full length 3 minute version of the song, audio only for this one but with some nice artwork (there's two official versions on YT, same audio but different art, one for the initial digital single and one for the album release): https://youtu.be/vZhp9_egahs?si=DmruFXbL0PjFK8jT

It's going to be interesting to see how their friendship grows along with their musical growth. NittPicc, I bet you see that with your band kids. The dialog in this anime is pretty honest and insightful. It's pretty sophisticated for teenagers, but as a male, I think girls are a hell of a lot more sophisticated as us.

I love Nina's rapid verse vocals in the last song, "Voiceless Fish".

Yes, this show is so darn good and every song in it is a banger.

When they do the music in this show it gets me so hyped up!

I still could never process how people play music without learning how to read sheet, but I do feel like my trombone background is dragging me back when i am studing drums, i really have a hard time to just follow the flow instead of reading of a sheet a play exactly what it says.
