We approach the reveal of the full story of Nina, I know you already see it since you binge watched it, but I can't wait to see your reaction to it. As for my favorite food at a fair, here we have almost just sugary one like cotton candy and other kind of candies. But we have something that we call "chichi" or "churros", I don't know how they're called in english, but basically, this is dougnut paste, streched and fried in oil, cover by some sugar that you can eat like this or with chocolate paste or other like this.

One thing I didn't pick up on the first time I watched this episode was that Rupa has her own little extra act of defiance, complete with stuck out tongue, to signal the friendly rivalry. During the first half of her bass soundcheck she's actually playing a slight variation on the opening lead guitar part for Diamond Dust's then new song 'Cycle of Sorrow' (which did also get an IRL physical release as a five track single, albeit including two instrumental/karaoke mixes). It's implied that the first time she'd heard it was earlier that day watching their live set, so she's low-key flexing both her aural abilities and playing chops. The production staff felt the soundcheck was vital to ensure the right kind of energy overall: "Despite many anime featuring festival LIVE scenes, few capture what makes festivals unique. That’s why I insisted on including the soundcheck scene—that’s where the real festival vibe lives." - Jukki Hanada (screenwriter) As well as Subaru's grandmother watching from the back with the agent, Nina's dad is eagerly watching the livestream at home and Diamond Dust are watching out of their stage gear, with the OG members seeming happy for Momoka.

Really good hotdogs at a festival or fair is always worth the indulgence.

Mmm, corndogs. I've only gone to a couple of festivals because I live in a rural area, but I liked that I could make one trip to the city and see a wide range of artists. I went to the Experience Music Project opening concert in Seattle and saw Metallica, Kid Rock, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, and Eminem at the main venue.
