A battle of the bands? Really? It seems like that wouldn't be very fair wouldn't it? Is it just a plan to try and take down a budding band? Diamond Dust has no chill! NOTE: I have to document that I practiced today. My fingers hurt, my shoulder is killing me, but I think progress is being made?

The idea behind this episode was meant to be a return to reality after the high of the festival show exceeding external expectations. A collision with the adult world in the aftermath. They been taken on by a management agency, which work slightly differently from the US equivalent, but not yet been signed to a record label per say. The base salary they're getting from the agency equates to a little under $1400 USD a month, enough to live off under their current circumstances (excluding Subaru's fancy flat, which I'm assuming her family/grandmother have been taking care of) and be able to focus solely on music, but nothing too fancy either.

After the last episode, we can look forward to two movies coming in October and November. Unfortunately, the movies are listed as theatrical compilations or omnibus, so I'm not sure how much new material there will be. I'm hoping that if they do well, we might get a second season.

I am from one of the most atheist country in europe (Czech rep), and in the world, i have strong feelings against organised religion. I am baptised, but nobody asked me if i want to. In US i could sued my parrent probably :), but on the other hand tough case in catholic controled state. But Shinto have many things i like, none of that organized mass every week and God that see evrything and will judge you, just shrines for spirits of nature/places that you can visit when you want to. Its not perfect and has flaws, but its close to my idea of relligion.

I could never understand the mindset of highly organized religions, growing up in a buddhist/taoist/folk religion background, gods are basically none existence in our daily lives. We only goto temples when something important happens. I feel like the relationship between gods and us east asians are much more transactional tbh. We pay tributed and prayer only when we want something from gods, either good fortune or some other bs, otherwise gods are useless to us most of the time
