I completely understand Azusa's feelings about the light music club. Her outburst was valid, but I love that she decided to try accepting the club's rituals.

Even though it may seem like Yui, Mugi and, Ritsu seem a bit lazy at times, it's because they want to get to know their band mates to create their musical family. It's actually quite sweet!

If Band-Maid have its pigeon, Houkago Tea Time have its cat lol Houkago Tea Time or HTT in short, is the band name of the girls, its not a big spoiler so I think I can say it. It mean "tea time after school", wich, if you payed attention, is said during this episode and in the OP too if I remember correctly. Speaking of the OP, there is two version of it, well more if you count the TV version and full version. But here I talk about the full version, there is two, because in the middle of the song, the band members said their name or rather one member say the name of another who do a little leak on their instrument. Exemple : Ristu said Yui, Yui said Mugi, Mugi said Mio and Mio said Ritsu. So of course, with Azuza joining the band, they added her in a new version of the song too, wich of course lead to a different pattern of member name droping and leaks ^^.

Cat in japanese is "nekko". Nyan is what they refer to the miau sound as you said.

The Japanese onomatopoeia for meow is 'Nyan' and neko means cat. The formal version of dog is inu and barking/woof is 'wan wan'. I've heard the girls K-On compared more frequently with Scandal, partly because they were breaking through commercially when K-On first started airing ('09) and until the youngest member (drummer Rina) graduated from high school the band wore stage outfits inspired by school uniforms. In terms of practicing; when playing with my most long term band that did only original material, we would write and practice separately to bring stuff to band practices. But a lot of writing came from the extended practices themselves, working through arrangements and jamming on ideas. The rehearsal aspect was more about either figuring out setlists & tightening up material for gigs or effectively pre-production if we had recording sessions coming up. At my peak practicing era late-college/university I was probably playing guitar an average of 6-8hrs a day, with half of that semi-focused practice, though that was before other adult commitments really cut into my time. These days if I'm I get myself into a good routine & place mentally I'll try to average 1-2hrs at least 3-5 times a week. This will slip though if I'm run down or depressed, plus my fiancée works nights so my opportunities at home are more limited when she's sleeping.

NittPicc, we love you with or without makeup, but you do look AWESOME!

English movies i can watch without focusing, but movies like French Amelie or German Das Boot reminded me how hard is to both watch and read.

Thank you! Going back and editing this and having to stare at my bare face makes me a little bummed. 😅 I'm just so tired with marching band! This is my safe space recording hour. I legit feel like I'm watching anime on the couch with friends in my PJ's. Lol

I miss the college days mainly for the amount of time I had to practice, perform and work on my craft. It was expected of me. Now it feels like as an adult I only have time to teach others how to play and enjoy music. Don't get me wrong...it's great, but I MISS PRACTICING FOR ME! ...for instance, I want to record more covers on flute. I want to perform for you all more with music that you guys already know, but I don't have the time to sit and transcribe everything out. I also record those bass videos at ungodly hours...the bass video I made was recorded at 2AM because I got into the practice groove and didn't want to put it down.
