Kumiko shines in this episode.

I know she hasn't thought about her future yet, but she has a very good future in something that requires a level head and friendly guidance.

I am glad she talked to Sally about what was going on. I know it was another student's duty to take care of the freshman class, but as president something like this is really important when your whole freshman class feels like dropping out.

I loved this episode because I feel like everyone can learn something from good leadership skills. I still admire those who taught me how to be strong and passionate about what I do.

I absolutely love this episode; the first years are so precious and need to be protected 🥺 Kumiko does an excellent job; watching her grow is so satisfying. I'm really excited for your reaction to the rest of the season, there will definitely be a lot to talk about.

Also Seeing Riri-chan in charge of the first-years also makes me think of her in some kind of authority role in her third year, and I think it's really cute to see little Oboe growing up too ❤️

NittPicc, the next time you react to the animes wearing the concha you can wear a red shirt (strawberry or raspberry fillings) or blue for blueberry, or even brown for cinnamon. Just a weird thought.

As usual, lately Kumiko is "good at opening windows". And we have a glimpse of Mayu's mental state. We see more of that later.

One narrative through-line you find with season three is there are sometimes story parallels with events from previous seasons, including several of the various trials and tribulations. We get to find out if Kumiko/Reina/Shuuichi as the band executives have learnt from past incidents and manage to avoid repeating the same mistakes they witnessed or were affected by. This time it was the threat of having a first year exodus, which had previously happened the year before they joined (albeit for opposite reasons); causing significant damage to the overall cohesion of the ensemble and leaving deep scars that then took most of the preceding story to heal and/or overcome.
