This episode was surprising on 2 fronts.

It seems like Jinshi, even with his boyish ways, seems like he is acting more like the adult he is. Maomao seems to notice this as well and it seems to put her in a state of being able to talk to him in a more candid way.

Her asking him to kill her by poisoning her if the time ever came was a request that I feel one only asks when they feel comfortable with that person. I think Maomao trust Jinshi. I was sad listening to her talk about how she would want to die, and it seems like her openess set Jinshi off, but good for her for speaking up for herself.

I cannot wait for the other story from the garden party to be completed so I can finally see what happened!
